Awesome video. I’m about to do exactly the same. Although I was thinking of going with a gen 2 gieser spring since they are little longer than a gen 1 and with the compression and sag i think it’ll even out.
nice video 👍🏼 any follow up videos in the works? i’m curious to see how the bucket looks from the engine bay side and how it would affect replacing the lower spark plugs.
Haven't really thought about a follow up. I honestly think changing the passenger side lower plug might be easier now. They were smart enough to put a hole in the bracket so you can get to it.
Did you take any measurements on front end before and after to see how the truck sits? How does it ride on and off road vs your rebuilt shocks? Would you change anything if you did it again?
I'm so sorry for the late reply! I forgot to take after measurements, and now they'll be different because I installed deavers in the rear. There was an immediately noticeable difference on road, but all of my shocks were blown so I'm guessing that's why. I've been on three off road trips with the truck since installing these shocks and I can say they have performed better off road. And no, I would not change anything. The main reason I did this conversation was so I could upgrade to the Gen 2 Fox Racing Series shocks, which I hope to do sooner than later.
Awesome video, super helpful, glad you’ve made one for the rear too!

That's why I wanted the spring rate of the two. But I don't think you can go wrong with either. Let me know how it goes!

So you bought gen 2 bracket and used it for this gen 1 so you can use gen 2 shock?
Yup!
Take a video of it after
Great video, how can we contact you💞
How’s it ride?
It is much better. And definitely a noticeable difference when off road too.
