"Duke wants Olivia, who wants Sebastian, who is really Viola, who he's brother is dating Monique. So she hates Olivia who's dating Duke to make Sebastian jealous..." is where I started having my seizures again
I'm going to stop scrolling through the comments before I get more traumatised, but just to educate people - it's a modernisation of the William Shakespeare play Twelfth Night.
"And this is where it gets really complicated" You're joking right!? Cause I had to watch that thing with Duke and Olivia and Monique 20 times before I understood who felt what about who!
One of my fave movie, alongside Sydney White, which both hilariously executed by Amanda Bynes 😂😂😂 love the chemistry between her and Channing-my-love here!
I just started reading twelfth night for school and halfway through I realized “uhhhhhh this sounds really familiar” I haven’t even seen this movie in at least ten years! Lmao
It's surprising how Amanda said that the reason of her breakdown was seeing herself like a boy, she didn't like that and get depressed. Like what the hell it's the cuttest boy I've ever seen, I wanna watch the movie just to see Amanda as a guy
for some reason, i’ve watched this movie at every sleepover and i still don’t get it, but that doesn’t stop me from crying of laughter every time i see it
This movie is the best! I have watched so many times with my little sister cause it’s her comfort movie - I distinctly remember watching this over parents weekend last year during my sis’s first year at the United States naval academy and having a blast 😊
The fact that the brother's girlfriend couldn't tell them apart is funny to me XD cause even tho they are twins she still has more feminine features than her bro and the natural chemistry would be off XD
@green is da boi dang you had me I thought this was real. Thank God we have you to clarify. You should be rewarded with millions of dollars. Truly an inspiration... 🤦♂️
@Unsung Songs And the voice and physical complexion of a guy vs a girl? I loved the movie but with this type of rom-coms it's best to take things as they are instead of trying to justify the unjustifiable. The coach and boys' condescending and mocking reaction to the girls wanting to play was ridiculous. Having rules to follow, especially about insurance, would have been a perfectly valid reason. And a girl playing at the same level than boys, which is the premise of the whole movie, is also ridiculously far-fetched considering that the world champion team can't beat a bunch of highschool boys.
This is sung roughly halfway through the play this movie is based on, but I think it could also suit the end of this movie as well as in the middle: "Oh mistress mine where are you roaming? Oh stay and hear your true love's coming That can sing both high and low. Trip no further pretty sweeting, Journeys end in lovers' meeting Every wise man's son doth know. What is love 'tis not hereafter Present mirth hath present laughter What's to come is still unsure In delay there lies no plenty Then come kiss me sweet and twenty Youth's a stuff will not endure." The "kiss me sweet and twenty" bit definitely suits Toby and Eunice, by the time they'll remember to come up for air they'll have kissed at least three times as many as that!
THIS IS THE KIND OF MOVIE TRAILERS BACK IN THE DAY WHERE TRAILERS SHOWED YOU THE WHOLE MOVIE BUT YOU STILL WANT TO WATCH IT OR IT HELPS TO STTRACT YOU TO WATCH IT LOL

The way she went "oh right!" Had me dead🤣🤣🤣🤣

"And this is where it gets really complicated"
You're joking right!? Cause I had to watch that thing with Duke and Olivia and Monique 20 times before I understood who felt what about who!
Omg same 😂😂🤣🤣🤣it's actually really complicated from the part where they tell who wants who
If you think that's complicated, I think realizing it was based in Shakespeare's "12th Night" will make it make sense...
One of my fave movie, alongside Sydney White, which both hilariously executed by Amanda Bynes 😂😂😂 love the chemistry between her and Channing-my-love here!
Too sad she became a junky
I love Amanda Bynes and this movie much. She is a very good actor. Unique! I hope to see her again.
Twelfth night everyone 😂😂

The trailer: Trying so hard not to give away the whole movie plot.
The narrator: -recites the whole story in two minutes-
They are totally twins
I just realized this was a modern retelling of the twelfth night! Thats so cool!
Movies like this will never be made again
lol the end scene tho
Of the trailer or the film because either are amazing

they had this version of twelfth night for all these years and youtube only recommended it to me now????
0:44 "Girls who have butts like mine, do not talk to boys with faces like yours" So damn savage, you go girl!!!
One of those guys is Channing Tatum, so the joke's actually on her.
Imagine sitting at a table with Duke, Justin and Olivia. And all of them want Viola.
I already watched this movie 😁😂✨
I'm ashamed it took me until about the 1:30 mark to realise this was based on Twelfth Night.
This is sung roughly halfway through the play this movie is based on, but I think it could also suit the end of this movie as well as in the middle:
"Oh mistress mine where are you roaming?
Oh stay and hear your true love's coming
That can sing both high and low.
Trip no further pretty sweeting,
Journeys end in lovers' meeting
Every wise man's son doth know.
What is love 'tis not hereafter
Present mirth hath present laughter
What's to come is still unsure
In delay there lies no plenty
Then come kiss me sweet and twenty
Youth's a stuff will not endure."
The "kiss me sweet and twenty" bit definitely suits Toby and Eunice, by the time they'll remember to come up for air they'll have kissed at least three times as many as that!
what's the name of the song / band starting at 1:37 ???
If you're still wondering, it's "Up & Go" with The Starting Line.
I don’t even need to really watch the movie cuz the trailers basically told me the whole bloody plot.
