- Welcome to San Salvador the capital city of El Salvador! In today's video we will be walking around the capital's historic city center to show you some of the most historical sites in the city. I will also give you first hand information on safety here in El Salvador and let you guys know if San Salvador is worth visiting or not! Everyone told me prior to coming to El Salvador that I should avoid the capital by all means necessary, but I simply had to go and see it for myself! We will also talk a bit about bitcoin in El Salvador and how the locals are adapting!

@@Travelwithchris Suchitoto is known for their beautiful doorways. It’s a beautiful little town. I was in El Salvador twice in ‘99 and 2000 on dental mission trips providing free dental services to locals in 2 locations. The diesel fumes were so bad we’d cover our noses and mouths while in San Salvador. ❤️

To be honest everywhere they except it, but it's not really used. The locals still prefer cash, but yes you can use Bitcoin everywhere!!

I'm from Canada wanting to go there but since the last case I'm a little scared, It's very dangerous if I don't have friends from that country.
Actually I don't find it dangerous at all. Come on over you'll love it! There many tourists of all kinds here! Those who love the mountain or those who just want to surf. Also you can always book tours with Salva like I did!
