Another great video! What a wonderful tour (and guide) you had of San Salvador. The history is fascinating and the odd arched church with the stained glass was a jaw dropper. As usual, my favorite moment is always the way Frankie interacts with the locals. Watching your adventures always makes my heart so happy!

Great downtown tour and food vlog! Yes, 10 plus years ago, many Central American countries including Nicaragua 🇳🇮 were unsafe to travel through. The local cartel were everywhere. Safe on the road travels.
But today.... they are lovely and full of life!!! It's been amazing exploring down here Laura!!!
They are still very dangerous tho...
@Rodolfo Meza Alvarado you can say that about every big city. Also It depends on the adventure you may be on. Ours avoids dangerous activities and spots that are more known to be unsafe.
Nicaragua can still be dangerous though. Don't let the beautiful scenery fool ya.

We went to El Salvador for 10 days last summer and although we saw a lot, there’s so much we didn’t get to see. Very much looking forward to going back.
Also, we were on that street before they removed vendors. Such an amazing place.
Totally!!! 10 days is a lot Adam but more is always better. Plus you don't want to burn out on a holiday. There's only so much you can do in a day and still relax and enjoy! Can't wait for you to get back!!

Im glad you like the country where i was born. The security guard gave you his blessing may God bless and keep you safe. The jocote tree leaves are loaded with vitamins especially vitamin C, we used to mixed in them in Salads and even make drinks out of them. Im taking about 10 nieces and nephews next year to El Salvador so they see where their family comes from :-)

The Rigua is a Corn Fritters. Basically Salvadorean people make dishes out of CORN , whatever you go and buy food from the streets is corn flavor base.

I was supposed to go with friends the day after Thanksgiving for 5 days but they all flaked. Now I’m planning a solo trip so thanks for this!! I want to venture out to Santa Ana as well… any more food spots or anything else is appreciated!

In the Chicagoland area there was no Walmarts until you went to the farther suburbs. So no idea how they were most my life. Frankie looks great for his age since he must have known Walmart in the 60-70s, so he is 50 - 75yo! 😳
