That was called peperecha, there is another similar named honrada, the semita has 2 types high and low, the low is kind of similar to honrada, but the flavor is diferent, quesadillas there are others very special and taste is much better than that you taste 😅 I like you enjoy the salvadorean food❤
We don't usually use the regular silverware at locations like that's because you know guys, it has been used for a lot of customers, so it is more healthy and respectful to use the plastics one's 😅

BTW at min8:00 the red sugar covered pastry you are eating is not a "semita" , that's actually a "peperecha" which literally translates to "whore" 🤣 and the other variety with white sugar on it is called "honrada" which translates to "respectable". What can I say people have a sense of humor, like in Italy with their pasta puttanesca. Oh and it totally alright to eat chicharrónes and yucca with your fingers(no weak plastic fork needed) 😁
