- Welcome to El Tunco, El Salvador. In today's video I will be showing you around El Tunco, which is also known as Surf City here in El Salvador. This each town is extremely beautiful and it has quite a it to offer. El Tunco is also one of the most popular beaches in El Salvador and the second being El Zonte, also known as Bitcoin Beach which is only located about 15 minutes up the road. I will also take you with me to explore the local Tamanique Waterfalls, which are absolutely a must visit when in El Tunco!

El Salvador 🇸🇻 is very small but it has more 300 kilometers of sandy beaches, 4 beautiful lakes, 10 lagoons, more than 20 volcanoes, more than 50 rivers and more than 25 waterfalls like Tamanique , Mayan pyramids and adventures parks, but my favorites places are the water parks like Termos Del Río , Amapulapa, Los Chorros, La Toma de Quezaltepeque, Agua Fría, Galicia, Apunzunga ...

great video mate! im Australian and my wife is from El Salvador, when we go there my family asks me to cover my tattoo on the base/back of my neck with a colar shirt 'ONE LOVE' for safety reasons, obviously you had no issues with your tatts showing?

Chris.. please answer this: Is it so empty there now? It looks like there is hardly anyone in the water. When I was there 10 years ago it was completely packed... hard to catch waves.
So at night and in the evenings it does get super full! Especially on the weekends! I'll be filming a night life video soon!
@@Travelwithchris I was talking about the surf lineup. I remember that people would drive down from San Salvador for the weekend. People told me they were gangsters and you should keep away. But I know you got Street smarts so you'll be fine. If you notice how many people are surfing during the day that would be great information I think I would definitely come down for a surf like right away if the lineup is empty or few.

Nope none at all, so many tourists here with tattoos and some even face tattoos

@@chrisaudato3671 I’ve been watching Chris’s Serbia videos trying to work out where he had the most fun Serbia or El Salvador - after the recent massacre 69 dead at San Salvador markets 3 weeks ago it scared us as we have a young boy with us - we still plan on buying the Volcano Bonds and get citizenships in El Salvador but waiting till next year.
