Great videos, just FYI there are some sand beaches a few minute drive from el tunco. I think it was called el majahual, definitely less touristy. Also there's a beach called el cuco on the east side that's supposed to be beautiful. Edit: If you haven't yet, highly recommend Mopelia for dinner, the owner is super awesome and I've always had a great time there!

Those rocky beaches in El Salvador are the minority, a very small part of the coast, they just happen to be popular. 90% of the beaches in El Salvador are beautiful black sand beaches.
I think you have not been to some of our beaches.. your right in the sense when we might not have the bluest beaches but we do have alot of beaches with no rocks alottttt and some were you can walk forever and ever and the water still hits knee level like playas las tunas if you go that way or if you go to the other end we have barra De santiago in ahuachapan and el tunco is not cheap for locals but for tourists I guess u can say it .. paying 2dl for a coco is def something locals do not do and can't do because they can't afford it..its really good we get tourism but it's just getting out of hand with locals not even wanting to visit anymore because it's so expensive now

The waves of the beach is very aggressive suitable for surfing the souvenirs really unique and alots of nice cafes, musicians are nice also amazing place!🏄♀️⛱🍍🍇🍉🍭🌵🆒👍🌀❇🌻✳🔆🌼🔅

I realized it's really expensive. Magnets are way expensive in any country but some regions of Italy like in Rome where you could buy 1 magnet for 1 euro. Make the math he was selling you 3 for 10 bucks.

I am Salvadorean and pisses me off how people can sell a coconut for $2 ! In Santa Ana, at the mercado central I buy 2 yellow coconuts for $1.25 and because I am not getting ripped off I tell the man selling coconuts to keep the change.

@@Travelwithchris San Luis Talpa, La Paz El Salvador, El Salvador - we got an Airbnb there on the beach and it was a nice sandy beach not far from El Tunco! You’ll like it. We loved El Tunco, the nightlife there is awesome but to enjoy the beach - the place I just mentioned would do.
On the right side of the main streets of el tunco is actually swimmable. Btw, all those things you’ve mentioned on here are very cheap considering it’s the most tourist beach in all of El Salvador.
Yes super, but honestly if you're traveling with a lot of valuables I would just play it safe and book a private transfer! It costs literally $5 more thn uber but 100% safe. I booked mine with @TuncoLife
