I stayed at 2 places in EL Tunco, "Guaimea-Bambu Minilofts", and "Papaya Lodge", Papaya was about 35-45 a night for simple room, and the Minilofts were about twice that. When you're in El Tunco, I think lodging and food are both a bit pricier then surrounding areas.
I never visited playa El Zonte before in my life, but watching that rocky beaches, it doesn't looks so attracted to me. I prefer sandy beaches like: San Diego, Costa de El Sol, El Espino, El Cuco, El Tamarido, ... Anyway, right now I am missing any warm beach of El Salvador (I don't like this cold weather of the nort hemisphere)
That shore where you walking is kind dangerous in the afternoon and at night !! Pls. Be careful , I'm not kidding !!! You can appreciate those views from restaurants on top of those beaches along the highway.
@@MrCurryBadger you can do it when the waves are not reaching the caves , usually in the mornings , because in the afternoon is when waves star hitting those caves , what's even more dangerous is at night . I don't know if you're still in the country, I can recommend you to pay a visit to the restaurant " curvas de Jerez " wich is about kilometer 40 or do, that's a nice place you it has a very location so can see the ocean very close and the food is very good ,food prices are very reasonable, is along the only highway there that runs along the coast. Nice video. I would suggest to reach out to a salvadoran Blogger. They know a lot of hidden nice places, food and Travel suggestions. That way you wouldn't explore alone or possible miss good spots. 🫡
