It was interesting to see how Vincent has this prejudice towards A1s, and I loved seeing him roast Gordon. Great story and great adaptation!
probably has something to do with Gordon being built at Doncaster. engines built at Darlington are perhaps have more humble personality
I like the fact Vincent calls Gordon your majesty.

Mainly probably because Vincent is prejudice to pompous engines like Gordon himself. And this would be his way of being kind to those types
so the Fat controller brought Vincent in from the LNER to stop Gordon and James going on strike again. being Doncaster drawn and built I would think Gordon would be over the moon to see another engine working on the NWR odviously not
This was brilliant! You worked Vincent into the timeline so naturally, feels like he belongs and has always been there! I love Vincent's reasonable, working class personality; it proves that most LNER engines aren't snobs! Great voice acting and music choices, felt very cinematic with good ambience and some great shots/camera angles! I loved it!
Vincent is an instant favourite for me. I've always wanted to see a character who puts Gordon in his place. And I love that he is number forty, a number that is literally ten times Gordon's No 4. Shows that Vincent is ten times the better engine, at least in personality.
Gotta love how they look like actual locomotives instead of giant toys.
I think that Gordon's right steamed off! Vincent is much more down to Earth and not stuck up.
He found out! I wonder though? What if there's a follow up story involving Gordon and Vincent? I hope so! I'd like to see that develop and occur! Any chance of that?

I laughed when Gordon finds out about the mix-up about Vincent taking his express. I thought he was going to say "YOU...DID...WHAT???!!!!!!!!"
I don't know why, but I laughed out loud at the bit at 1:42 and then "Oh... that's right. Henry's not here."
Vincent is truly an interesting character and I hope we get to see more of him.
I agree to that. Vincent actually feels like a breath air and a nice change of pace from the typical pompousness of Gordon and James. I hope that Vincent appears in more stories.
He’s my favorite, fan made character I just love how he can be so snarky, but yes, so chill at the same time, and I love how he mainly is more snarky at Gordon, but what confuses me they’re not brothers, their cousins, if he was an A1 locomotive like Gordon or flying Scotsman, then he would be considered to Brother but he’s just a LNER mixed traffic engine. I forgot the exact class because of my short attention span but one that make them cousins not brothers.
I was wondering how you’d Introduce Vincent and I think you did splendidly, the music selection was quite well done and a pleasant surprise to see this is casted. Quite humorous at some parts aswell, excited to see where Vincent’s character will go through your pen!

absolutely love the train chase and the music. also like how he put the music in when gordon was pulling the train
this story was thrilling to listen, and what makes it even more surprising that gordon actually had cousin before. but hey, at least the story was great.

@@ShunterProductions I did read a few when I was a kid, but I dont remember Sir Topham Hatt having hair. I have seen all episodes, the other books that aren't and are canon to the show and seen some images of The other RWS books.
Vincent sounds like a cool engine and with a nice name too.

When youre such a stupid station master,that you take a 4-4-0 as a pacific(4- *6* -2)
and, and the D-16's does not have one thing don't have is a tapered fire box like Gordon's!
The heck could someone mix up a 4-4-0 mix traffic engine with a Pacific *4-6-2* Express engine
Would've been a more believable mistake if it was a V2 class, a mixed traffic 2-6-2 that does look very similar to an A3, having been derived from it.

Hmm...Vincent being confused for Gordon...probably doesn't help that his number is 40 on his tender. Interesting new original character, would love to see more of him in the future.

It seems like (other than James), Mixed Traffic engines are generally more humble, down to earth, yet can have cheek when need be.
