I've instantly loved this story as a young kid. I always watched it on Halloween and whenever I was bored. I loved the feeling when ol Morris was present. This will forever remain my favorite thomas story
Well, it's about time you did this remake! I have been waiting _years_ for it to appear! And while there's still the issue with timing, I quite like the quality of the video. 👍 Nice usage of the Wilhelm Scream to accompany Old Dean Morris's death. Classic.
Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think where I go wrong with the timing I place the audio too close together and scenes change too quickly from time to time. It's a bad habit of mine when I get I to a mindset that I want to get a video done quickly

Usually in fiction ghosts are thought to be harmful but are revealed to be harmless. Cool to see a story that turn that idea on it's head. Makes one wonder what Dean did to get himself murdered-- perhaps he wasn't just a blameless victim.
I'll admit, this was one story I did not know was a remake of an earlier one until I glanced at the comments here. However, it was as chilling as ever. It's a very open ended story too featuring a ghost that is believed in by both humans and engines but the humans are oblivious to how hostile the ghost is. That is good story potential there.
Now this is what i've been waiting for. Great to see this remade. I even see some changes in it. You did a fantastic job remaking this. And Smudger did a fantastic job narrating this. Keep up the great work and take your time.
Really worth the wait on seeing the remastered version of bear and old dean Morris with a new narrator, I remembered watching the original video when I was a kid, and now seeing the remastered version really brings back memories on watching it. Nice job on the video. Although I still prefer using TRS19 than TRS22, because it would make things complicated on redownloading each kuid and content saved into trs22, even the ones from Trainz websites that are long gone.

Personally I like that the two incidents we've seen almost have a level of 'preparedness' behind them, like somebody knew it was going to happen. Why else would the trap points be set, or the brakevan parked on Douglas' line? And maybe the workers thought that Old Dean Morris was harmless _because_ they prepared?
That was most unexpected indeed! And I doubt those workmen ever thought much about Old Dean Morris very seriously given such vague information they've learnt of his tale, even the assumption he's harmless to engines and rolling stock. Someday though, someone's gonna have to make them see sense from the Engines! Even if that had to mean staying with one of they overnight.
By all rights he should've been in his blue livery for the opening narration. Then again; the Model Era never did engine repaints like black for James and blue for Henry, Donald & Douglas. Pretty sure there was another character who changed liveries in the books but wasn't in the series...

Ah yes this was worth the long wait

Finally! A recreation of one of the most memorable Sudrian ghost stories!
I've always loved this story so I'm definitely glad to see a remake! Great work!
Can't believe its been 12 years since your first remake was made. Makes me feel old!
This was a great story about bear 😊
Now this is what i've been waiting for.

It's so surreal seeing these timeless classics get remastered.
And another older ghost story remade. Great work here

Another work of art by ShunterProductions
Damn i made my 9 year old brother oliver watch the old version (scarred for life😱🤣)
I'd really love to see the remastered of the twins at the haunted manor
Part of me believes Douglas brought that on himself by mocking Old Dean Morris's existence, and the ghost did it to teach him a lesson.
This is good like my tea

Wowzers
This whole time, I though you written this story
'SHUT UP' bear objected from the trucks
Can we have a part 2 of that story with duck and the signal man except it's foucused on James because he was the one that hit the signal man?
How about make a sequel in which the engines deal with Old Dean Morris once for all?
Spooky! Can you redo Horror at Ballahoo Manor?
It's already been remade

@@ShunterProductions Oh I was spooked when I saw them
How come the works are located at Vicarstown in this story instead of Crovan's Gate?

It's a standard video game scream called the Wilhelm scream. It's used in a lot of war games

@ShunterProductions oh well I hope these 2 will remaster soon it is a childhood to me

I agree with you I don’t why they’re so oblivious even if two engines literally told them what happened but they still tend to not care
