yeah, Master Chef Indonesia is like competition with military system, sometimes the judges are mean, sometimes they yell at someone when they don't have to :/ even when the food is good, the judges don't compliment well and always talk about the mistakes in the food.. :/

Room temperature is a bit lower here than in the States. And knowing that a few degrees make a big difference while cooking, it may be that few degrees that contributes to the cake cooling fast.
Random Fandom Fan I live in Europe where it can easily be -3 in cold months and the warmest 6 degrees. Not to mention ovens and stove tops running creating an all round warmer atmosphere. But even if it was colder the cakes would have to have cooled down in 10 minutes which is impossible even if you put the cake in the freezer considering it still needs to be trimmed and decorated.

All these contestants and the judges are so wholesome and nice...I love that Christopher handed the chocolate over to his opponent without the slightest hesitation and everybody was happy when his cake was complimented.

Well that is just something they mentioned plus Opera cake is one of the hardest cakes to make and it's really hard to perfect the textures. People behind their screens have no rights to blindly judge it because you haven't been there to taste it.
I swear after Gordon Ramseys master chef I thought *these guys are very kind*. The layers weren't really even. The cake layers were even but not the cream in between. The only one who got all layers even and neat was the second dude
