HEY. I am in my seventieth year and I was fortunate and smart enough to see the Wings Over America tour and I have seen everyone from the Stones and the Who to the Jam and J. Geils, Springsteen... a little of everything and this was one of the greatest shows on earth at the time.
In 1964, bet Denny didn’t think that in the future , he’d be singing this song, with Paul McCartney on backing vocals. Go now was the first single I bought….. still love it.
THAT WINGS BAND WAS FULL SO MUCH TALENT GREAT MUSICIANS,,PAUL,DENNY,JIMMY,JOE AN EXCELENT DRUMER,LINDA ON BACKING VOCALS AND THE HORNS WERE JUST GREAT,,SUCH A GREAT BAND,,A VERY GOOD MUSIC!!!!!
It was a great band but dominated by McCartney--and one can understand why, given his phenomenal songwriting skills---but Laine was a very talented guy as well, and he kind of got short shrift in the band.
That is a part yes but they all also wrote a few songs I can say cause of Pauls status might have had a little more pull but as a whole post Beatles Wings was his best band and not just one hits wonder (btw) The Lp's they all made most was really good I'll give most of the songs was paul but some of music was the band and Jimmy as his guitar player had a big part on Wings He was awesome think you can agree with me and Denny Lain was good
The best live album Wings over America I bought this at the time of release have always enjoyed takes me back to a great era a super band thankyou for sharing this
John Afella love your story my friend sounds like we're about the same age I was born in 1954 do you know how Paul got Dennys to join his band ? I didn't follow Wings like I wish I did was so bummed when the Beatles broke up really getting into Wings now love the video of "Junior's Farm" it just plain rocks !
eh, depends on which album period imo but yeah it has a certain sense of mastery and sophistication that I kind of struggle to find comparisons to in the older beatles music!
❤
Without Denny there could be no WINGS.
RIP Mr Laine. Gone but not stopped listening.

Aye, right enough, imagine having Macca doing your backing vocals. Denny was a damn good singer too, hard to believe that he is no longer with us.
That's an awesome comment
@@Blacky474 Lead vocals, backing harmonies, guitars, keyboards - Denny had it all. A sad loss.
The world suffered musically when Jimmy Mcculloch passed away. His solos were nothing short of incredible
Would he still be alive had he not joined Wings and the rock life?
@@mtdouthit1291He'd only be 71 now so ots likely he'd still be here

Denny is the man and that guitar solo by Jimmy always gets me ! Fabulous stuff
Just like Paul , Denny never saw an instrument he couldn't play
I had Wings O.A. on 8 track when it came out, I'd forgotten what a great album it is.
Denny lane was in the Moody Blues. This song was a huge hit for them.💖💗💞
Its do good to hear you say that. Iv told people the same thing and they thought I was full of shit
Jimmy was such a tasteful musician.
If you are talking about Jimmy Mcculloch he was no joke on playing just sucks he was taken at such a young age
Love me some Denny Laine ❤

So glad I discovered this song.
My favorite song by the Moody Blues

Great Song!
a very good song I love it very much.
Beautiful.
I'm crying.
Denny is such a talent,,wow.
Every much Paul’s equal as a musician. The band just kills “Go Now”! Loved that song as a wee lad.
AMAZING BEAUTIFUL ❤️❤️❤️
WINGS FOREVER W....😷😁🤗😍🥰♥️
Temazo
Those 2 backup singers look familiar.
The best song sung by Denny laine
A masterful song, whoever wrote it. Much classier than what the Beatles were putting out way back then.
