I'll send this to the people who think Paul McCartney is just 'Let it be' and 'Yesterday' and that choosing him as your favorite artist is just silly, Lennon is a cooler answer. Paul never ceases to amaze me, this is what I call an artist from head to toe
I love all the Beatles.Paul was the most talented. His stuff with Wings was amazing. His attitude pisses me off, but there is no denying his greatness.Unreal.
Johnny Botts no one NO ONE could touch his singing then. I just listened to live "Yesterday" the 68' live TV version of "Hey Jude" and a live version of the song "Let It Be" and "The Long And Winding Road." Then "Beware My Love" and now I'm going to "Maybe I'm Amazed." Then "Souvinir" and "Somedays" from Flaming Pie. Lookout
Rockshow is the one concert I'd travel back in time to. Sir Paul McCartney at his prime. I love him with the Beatles but Wings era is when he just ascended past perfection for me. And Rockshow was the ultimate concert for that reason
Definately the best Wings lineup. Saw this tour in Toronto when I was 15. It was so good. The band was firing on all cylinders and just looked like they were having a blast. They crushed every song they played!
Saw this tour at the Capital Centre in Largo, Maryland (May 15, '76). "Beware My Love" and "Soily" were two of his best Wings rockers. Like so many others have said: "What a voice!"
This line up with Paul, Denny Laine and Jimmy is really awesome, amazing. I mean something else. Hendrix said Jimmy would be the new Hendrix. Did anybody know it. ?
The Voice, The Man, no matter what age this Man. Is a True Rocker and can perform just a good if not Better than any band that performs on stage....He Is The GREATEST
I was at the Detroit show that year ! Without a Doubt one of THE GREATEST SHOWS I've ever seen ! I've seen most of The Great Bands this one was Wayyy up on my list second only to Zeppelin !
oylmpia stadium...i was there, i was 14, me mum took me...she was way cool...i still have dreams of that concert and nothing i've seen since has topped it. :)
@@jamesian-allen8725 I was the same age, my now deceased friend took me. There was about 20 people in our group of friends playing the puff n pass game on a bowl of blonde Lebanese. Thanks Beatle Bug RIP
Got panned by the critics at the time but knocking Macca was a national sport at the time. I saw wings in 76 and it made me realise that tracks like this, time to hide, etc on Speed of Sound was produced too softly, needed more edge and grit in the mix..
Desse período até o finalzinho de 1979, PM e o Wings estavam em excelente fase. Só q veio a prisão do PM em janeiro de 80. Todos os shows cancelados e fim dos Wings
I was there as well. They did an unscheduled encore after they turned the house lights on, because the crowd wouldn't leave. The band had already changed into their street clothes.
@@aslan4013 I'm 58. I was 14 at the time of the concert. Went with a couple of older guys. My mother allowed it. Different times back then. Still the best concert I've ever seen live. And my taste runs toward heavier bands, but unless you were there you wouldn't understand how good it was.
Just amazing 👏 love this side of him his voice is something else so wish I was old enough to see him and wings back in the day . ❤ him even now never stops to amaze me
Wee Jimmy McCulloch was actually in Thunderclap Newman who did "Something in the Air", which was originally called "Revolution", ironically, then joined Stone the Crows. He replaced Henry McCullough in the band who had previously played with Joe Cocker's Grease Band. Both fine guitarists.
@@stewartjackson5483 So glad that the one and only time I was able to see McCartney was on this Wings tour in '76. The setlist was amazing and the whole band; Jimmy especially, was just spot on. Loved the way he made that SG howl. Jimmy was so young at the time of this tour, and didn't live much longer. Very, very sad.............'Medicine Jar' indeed.
Fantastic!....I saw them perform at the Richfield Coliseum just outside of Cleveland during the "Wings Over America" Tour....Still in my Top 3 concerts I have seen in my 63 years on the planet!
philipleanza3 didn't see Paul with Wings but saw him in Raleigh N.C. in 2003 . Also in my top three awesome concerts I've seen in my 64 years on this planet . Yes in 1972 at Duke University and Jimmy Page with the Black Crowes rounds out my top three .

so true
10 points well put .......
You’re absolutely right! Genius!
I agree..Paul is a genius.I love this song..
I love all the Beatles.Paul was the most talented. His stuff with Wings was amazing. His attitude pisses me off, but there is no denying his greatness.Unreal.
Wings Rule!!!! What a bass player, fantastic guitarist and a unique one of a kind drummer!!!!
RIP Denny Laine 😢 Damn, that Jimmy McCulloch guitar playing rocks!
I sincerely believe this is Paul's most underrated song, whether it be with the Beatles, Wings or solo. This is a masterpiece!!!
Repetitive boring shit.
Truly and literally- one of my absolute favorite songs of Wings + Paul’s. 💖💖💖💖

Absolutely love that side of Paul's voice - when he uses that 'rasp'.

@@laco4275 so true hes at the top of his game here .
The balad voice and the sock it rock voice
McCartney was a master at changing his voice. What a gifted musician and what a great band Wings was.
Sad ending for such a great talent Rest easy Jimmy McCulloch
Linda and Jimmy....Rest in Peace...
And now Denny.
Denny ❤
Rockshow is the one concert I'd travel back in time to. Sir Paul McCartney at his prime. I love him with the Beatles but Wings era is when he just ascended past perfection for me. And Rockshow was the ultimate concert for that reason
Thats was my dream concert wish I could go back in time.
I'd rather travel back to the Wings Over Europe tour because of the McCartney and RAM songs
Just imagine if this exact lineup had stayed in tact for another 5 - 10 years. Wow.
5 - 10 is a lifetime in music
@Camilla Rodriguez Exactly. Joe had a great singing voice too.
I thought getting rid of Joe was the biggest mistake because he had that Wings rhythm sound with that took them to places. He was a good singer.
Probably the greatest voice of all drummers
The man of a thousand voices singing perfectly loud..
he had that band super tight and is now a living legend..
thanks for posting this
One Paul's best vocals, Gives me chills...
I couldn't agree more. I believe this live voice was at it's peak during this time.
His vocal on "Soily" was pretty awesome also!!
It's sad that the wonderful members other than Paul don't get much recognition.
They are the best members after the Beatles.
McCartney is untouchable live. His voice is so powerful. And yes he can rock harder than any other Beatles easily.
100%
One of the greatest rock songs and rock vocals ever ever EVER. No one can sing like this. No one
Perfect McCartney and Wings Era!
This feels like fun times. Probably strongest wings period. Watched this show many times ..
Definately the best Wings lineup. Saw this tour in Toronto when I was 15. It was so good. The band was firing on all cylinders and just looked like they were having a blast. They crushed every song they played!
Lennon McCartney were the greatest composing duo. Who knows what John would have Gave us But Paul is alive and has giving us more than we expected.
Great Song !!....Paul in his prime.
incredible vocals on this amazing live version...... sublime !!
I love Denny Laine on piano.
Another Wings song that should have been a hit
A great take that shows what a genius Paul is.
this band had the world by the balls with songs like this back in this time slot.......magical!
Saw this tour at the Capital Centre in Largo, Maryland (May 15, '76). "Beware My Love" and "Soily" were two of his best Wings rockers. Like so many others have said: "What a voice!"
Oh my god his voice!!!!!!!!!!
Stellar band with Joe English on drums, Jimmy McCulloch on guitar, Denny Laine on keyboards & Paul's wife Linda on backing vocals!
Best version of this song by miles.
How handsome was Paul at that time..and with that haircut. This song always likes me very much.
2:43 that drum fill thooo
Sounds like a Neil Peart fill
Right?
Excellent
I love this song and is one of my favorites of all. I liked the Beatles but loved Wings!!! Paul McCartney is in a class by himself.
100%
This line up with Paul, Denny Laine and Jimmy is really awesome, amazing. I mean something else. Hendrix said Jimmy would be the new Hendrix. Did anybody know it. ?
no. I didn't
Now this was a super group!
I just can’t help but keep coming back to this time and time again. Paul’s vocal is just... I honestly don’t think it gets better. I get chills.

Amazing performance by all, superb
A beautiful song with ominous undertones.
I truly believe that this is the best ever song Macca has done. Including all the Beatles songs.
I loved it yesterday, today and the rest of my life
Pure,and great,rock music
He makes a mullet look good‼
Wow, first time hearing this. One of those songs thats instantly stuck in your head. Great song and performance from all.
One thing I have to say is Paul always had a good drummer with him on any tour or band he was in or formed and yes it includes Ringo
Jimmy and Linda, my God Bless You both!!
Wow, this stuff rocks , period!
This is a great song. Love it. And rest in peace, Jimmy and Linda!
Great song saw him live in 76 and he did this song and so many more with wings

Love this song! So so underrated! But The John Bonham version is simply THE BEST!
What a song! Paul at his best!
My first concert was 16
Amazing how great this is live.

This Album is Hammer 🔨🔨
Hammer is Wings At The Speed Of The Sound
Great song .nice and hard ...
I saw them live
Unbelievable!
The best singer
This song is a real rocker and a great song to play and perform live. They do get down!
Paul's mild harmonies, I melt each time and good rock'n roll won't do less. I'll try to cover it with my band. Voice pitch concern.
Love this song!!
Absolutely fantastic!!!
Fantastic
Great band and excellent on this song. ❤
I have to leave
And when I'm gone
I'll leave my message
In my song, that's right........
Wonderful
Paul and Jimmy!
My Go Too Wings song always
More proof that McCartney arguably had the best voice in rock music, all the way into the 90's. Sadly, age catches up with everybody.
