Jimmy was my classmate in school at Cumbernauld, Bonnie Scotland & didnt have a farm or sheep! He was a nice quiet kid with hair & gear that made me jealous. I joined army & in 1969 on TOTP was Jimmy with Thunderclap Newman. One hit wonder but a great one. Ok Jimmy and Macca. He composed 2 songs with Wings that Paul incredulously, for him, allowed to be on Wings albums. Not composed with Paul, just stand alone by Jimmy & also in concert at their best period (Paul really enjoys playing this as its a funky little number). Jimmy is the only person as a band member to have ever done this whether The Beatles or John Paul George. And Paul is the most controlling so its surprising he allowed it. Denny Laine never had this tho he co-composed with Paul. Well done Jimmy, you would have been a multi millionaire mate. Still family gets it. His first group, One in a Million, was with his brother & he snuck of school to go to Decca, London to cut a single which sank without trace tho he did meet the Stones. Jealous again. Miss you mate.

When music had originality, style, and class!!!
I saw the Wings Over America Tour in the Omni. Atlanta, Georgia....Greatest Arena Show I ever saw.... McCartney is Brilliant.......
That concert film is still my favorite by far, the Talking Heads Stop Making Sense comes in a distant second....Jimmy was a treasure...and people forget how good Paul was on bass! He was almost as good as John McVie!
Paul's a virtuoso bassist and one the genre's pioneers and greats.
Didn’t appreciate Wings then but enjoying the hell out of them these days‼. Poor little Jimmy stuck his hand in that medicine jar too often. Miss him.💖💖
Fav bass , Fav lead & Fav drums... what a 3 piece ++++++ fukn brilliant.Wings Rule!!!!!!
Great song!! Never heard of this song until this DVD came out. I guess, there are always gems to find!! \m/
Hearing this song and understanding the lyrics really makes you think....damn....sadly ironic,Jimmy. Oh,just how sadly ironic it is...Rest in Peace...
Great story thx
Thank you for sharing this story with us. Спасибо from Russia.
This brings back so many memories! My boyfriend had this album in his parents' house and tape in his customized van!!

It is INSANE how good they are n so cute how Paul is bopping to jimmy like a proud papa. Rip jimmy denny n linda Wish you all were still here to repeat this performance 💗🙏🏻
The great Joe English on drums, Iconic playing by Jimmy M,,
Paul had a really good bunch of musical blokes playing with him in Wings!! Almost makes one forget his other little combo from Liverpool lol
Great video, incredible. I saw him do this in Detroit. He was a small man, that I remember and he sang this with gusto - real emotion. Sorry he's gone on to the the great gig in the sky. May he be blessed by a Power greater than himself.
tru scotsman

About every seven years I suddenly have to hear THIS again! - Love you too, Jimmy McCulloch.
Oh boy this bass sound and that guitar are really perfect, those were the days ...
it's so sad:( so much talent
+Peter Colello Yes,I agree. He should have listened to the lyrics he sang...
this is the real deal of the band called: Wings. This song strikes close to home of many of my friends. McCulloch had a good start in music , only if He lived longer. Shame at 26 yrs old
Grrrrreeeeeaaaaaaattttttttttttt !!!!!!!!!!!!! Jimmy and Joe, simply FANTASTIC!!!!
This song is so badass
the baddest
Brill bought the Triple LP the day it became available. 🤩🤩
Saw wings twice awesome sounds great band of all times. Still love you sir Paul!!
Saw them on a hot June day in Seattle at the Kingdome.. great days.
Вещь ОБАЛДЕННАЯ, а соло ДЖИММИ душу выворачивает..
What a great song!!! Both Jimmy and Denny brought so much to this band. They were billed on albums or singles I believe, as PAUL MCCARTNEY AND WINGS because the record company wanted a BEATLE name stamped on it , but I've heard Paul just wanted to be called WINGS, and I agree, 'cause there was so much talent in this band than just McCartney. RIP Denny, Jimmy and Linda.
