Good honest interview, everyone one of these guys know on any given day they could shoot 62, or 75 regardless of what kind of a roll their on. The media does nothing but put pressure on them by suggesting, "you gotta be favored going into this tournament".
100% supportive of Viktor's swing change here. This is a brilliant plan for longevity and your physical ability, not your swing, is what is special about your game. Don't let anyone question your desire to protect your body as no one will care about it but you. 😊😊😊 Best of Luck!!!!
Can't ask for any more out of someone in their answers about themselves. Super to the point and honest. Really hard to dislike this kid. Even tho hes letting me down in fantasy and with the sportsbook, im still a huge fan of his & hope whatever hes doing thats knocking him off his end of yr form last yr is gonna be good for his career long term & not a huge mistake. Hes not looked very good lately so
I bet Viktor left Joe Mayo for some soft reasons. Your coach doesn't need to match your personality style. Your coach can say things that annoy you. But that man had Viktor dialed. Whatever Viktor is seeing or thinking he can find better elsewhere.... L Dana is a great coach. Its not about him. This is Viktor shooting himself in the foot
It is amazing to watch these things unfold. These guys are so good and play so well yet are always trying to get better, and for some guys it often derails the fast train they were on. Getting better becomes a drain mentally and instead of just going out there and playing, they struggle to find their game again.
@@ChadPowers10 It's common sense to doubt a player who just switched coaches, for very obvious reasons. It will take some time to fix what he feels went wrong. US Open and the Open are probably more realistic for Hovland to seriously contend in this year.
Just another swing change victim. He had it, and then he decided to tinker with it and lost it. It'll either take him YEARS to get it back, or he never will like most.
@@zzzzz45zzzzz79 It's worked for Scheffler. Rickie Fowler wished he went back to Butch sooner. Hovland was on fire at the Ryder Cup, now he's a dumpster fire.

We love us some Viktor
Awsome player and great interview, a lot of good knowledge
Victor's game has beat some of the best in the world and is a quality honest young pro. He's easy to pull for.
Legend
Bring it home 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴
Kudos to Kelvin Myahira I used to watch all of his stuff!🙏
Super nice guy, really knew his stuff. Terrible what happened.
@@gmbtempe what happened?🙏
@@1cleandude He had a serious stroke, I dont know if he is still alive or not but he was no longer able to coach.
@@gmbtempe oh wow so sorry to hear that!🙏🙏🙏
How the heck will they stop a 20' downhill putt?! Very best of luck Viktor 🎉
Vik!
It is crazy to think about that last year he dominated and only at the age of 25. While also raking in almost $35M just from golf alone.
That was Talor Gooch who made $35 million, not Hovland.
Hottest golfer at the end of last year including the Ryder cup.
Not so much this year. Golf is hard
Yeah this is gonna age well 🤦♂️

Keep doubting him, he’s winning a major sooner than later
I don’t know anyone out there doubting him. He’s literally the defending tour champ.
@@zzzzz45zzzzz79more so in relation to the comments about his coaching change

Hovland looks like he's always about to start laughing. 😊
Because he’s high on pot

So wild to see another #1 making his best swings still be a victim of trying to improve.
Cowboy isn't necessarily exuding confidence.
A bit worrying that he has lost faith in his golf swing. 😮

Dude swallow your pride go back to your coach and never leave him
Terrible take.

Victor is like xs shuaflee .cocky arrogant, like Ken Green type total turn off compared to rahm, scheffler, etc
I don't see how you could actually have that perception of Hovland
Hovland was on fire at the Ryder Cup, now he's a dumpster fire.
He is done.
You are a very bad person. They should never give you a chance to talk.
