    Thank you, for your responses. I always welcome healthy arguments.
    *Drift velocity, that's what everyone refering to and saying that the electron doesn't move at the speed of light. This drift velocity is based on electro magnetic wave around the conductor and it's changes upon the flow of current. I don't completely agree with that. We need to look deep and analyse more to get exact details. You may have conflicts.. but you cannot deny that the electricity reaches nearly the speed of light...

      ​@@rosnyahamed *correction neenga mention pana equation mass energy equivalence. According to Special theory of relativity, the particle which has mass can't travel in speed of light, only massless particles like photons can travel at the speed of light.

    If the load changes , rotor speed don't change , only torque will change to maintain the desired voltage that Indirectly connected to the AVR (Automatic voltage Regulator)
    If the speed of rotor changes, it will affect the frequency.
    Also switching off lights or other loads directly reduce the fuel /coal consumption, maybe it is less comparatively but still it is savings.

    Important correction electron won't move at a light speed only photons can do that, and it is not the reason why bulbs turn on when we switch on. please check the video on "veratasium" channel to get a detailed explanation.

    When one person turns off a bulb there may not be an impact on the supply side. But if everyone follows, then due to huge decrease in demand, supply will be adjusted. So indeed production decreases. Title of the video is certainly misleading and many readers just take that into consideration without analyzing it.

      You're right, if we save energy we put low demand for generator, so the generator use less fossil fuels that's good for environment. So just switch off unnecessary bulbs. The video title is misleading... But great explaination...

      I thought the same. But hasn’t he answered that?! He says the RPM tolerance has been set to 1.5 percent which value, I believe, they have arrived at from the history of the least load probable. Now, if such a fixed tolerance point has been there already, we can’t alter the RPM by our use or disuse of electricity unless the value of tolerance is adjusted automatically, right?! Or can someone tell me what do I miss..!?

    Today we have LED bulbs (Instead of filament bulbs) this save lot of electric energy, their by we get less EB charges, the point is that when we use energy efficient appliances, we are giving more opportunity for the other customers to use their appliance, where as the Power Plant produces constant rated electric energy in Mega watts. Eg: 10 M.W power plant can deliver power to 1000 homes, then by using energy efficient appliance then the same power plant can power more home (2000 homes), otherwise we have to build more power plant and use more coal, this how we save electricity.

    Saving electricity literally means ''Saving fuel required to produce the electricity, mostly Coal''. Increased demand in electricity consumption means increased fuel consumption. Small drops make a Ocean... Even if one light bulb is switched off from every home in a city, then summing up, it would be a good reduction in demand, consequently the supply will reduced. The concept you have explained is Supply-Demand match. Any given time supply should and in most cases will be kept to match the demand.
    The Goal of the slogan is to reduce the overall Demand by reducing consumption. Otherwise, your videos are great. Continue your good work.

    For a common public saving the electricity means saving the cost only. So switching off the fan or light will definitely save the cost. They are not bothered about connecting grid system. The title of the video is attractive and can be understood by technical persons only.

    USA and other countries 24*7*365 distribution of electricity.
    How can they able to give year round electricity with out interruptions.👍

    Electron does not move speed of light. Electrical energy only transmitted through electron at that speed due to collision between the electrons. Electron displacement in a conductor is 1m/4 h approximately.
    For example sound energy travel through solid medium.

    electrical saving is a collective effort. if everyhouse hold turns off an unnecessary 9W bulb, we can save like 9MW energy form tamil nadu alone. So saving electricity matters.

    Bro your Info could be misleading in Speed of Electricity, part you have mentioned electricity as electrons. electrons do not travel at light speed in the conductor. It barely moves, say slower than a turtle. The Energy from the source is carried by Electromagnetic waves. Electromagnetic waves travel at the speed of light. Source when open circuited only have Electric field, but when connected to a load the electrons move in the direction opposite to the Electric field and we call the movement of electrons in the conductor as Electric Current. By Ampere's law moving current produces magnetic field perpendicular to its direction. The Electric field and magnetic field are perpendicular to each other, the direction of the EM wave will be given by Poynting vector. At any instant of time, the Poynting vector will point to the load. That is Energy is transferred from source to load by EM waves at the speed of light.

    REASON WHY IT'S DIFFERENT - I knew the below thing & I searched on the internet for proof.
    What is the mass of a particle at the speed of light? - As an object approaches the speed of light, its mass approaches infinity. Because masses approach infinity with increasing speed, it is impossible to accelerate a material object to the speed of light.
    Photo mass = zero, so it can travel at light speed.
    Inoru info:
    Scientist have achieved 99.99% of light speed with their BIG ACCELERATOR MACHINES but cannot achieve 100% light speed. See, they are using big accelerators & still they cannot achieve light speed, then how is it possible with our domestic electricity stations?
    Interesting discussion bro. I respect your opinions. Also I think you respect & welcome people's opinions. It's better if you could add that 'anything I say in this video are my thoughts & understanding' because if you don't say so, it is like forcing people to believe whatever you say.
    Inoru interesting thought. There is theory that we can go beyond the light speed by WARPING SPACE. But I think electrons don't warp space that much to move at light speed.
    I would like to know your thoughts regarding the above concepts.

      RTX 3070 is completely new die and much more efficient at same power draw as RTX 3060. Also laptop battery will last much longer with 85W than 130W.

    I like ur video and I regularly watch ur engineering facts well explained electricity production
    But I don't agree with this concept about saving energy
    Because if we switch off any load means the power production generater adjust it input load by governor
    There are three types of governor
    Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic governor
    So if we switch off our house appliances means we save energy like diesel saved in diesel power plant or coal saved in thermal plant or water saved in dams in hydraulic power plant
    If u agree please correct the video
    Otherwise explain me

      1000 house means 100 Kw
      1lakh house means 10 Me
      It will adjust
      We run 600kw DG
      It will consume 140 liters of diesel per hour/ 300kw
      The same DG will consume only 70 liters of diesel per hour/100kw
      That DG has Electrical Governor
      Even 200 KVA DG as Governor MW DG means more efficient
      And energy savings

    If you watched decoupled series u ll understand 😂😂 there are many gated communities which follows this practice - once a year, they will switch off all the appliances, sometimes power for 30 minutes 😂😂 they call themselves as Energy savers, but travels in car even if its 1km 😂😂

    I love your channel but you should avoid these kind of thumb nail because this reduce the motivation of saving energy even a 3w bulb saving will be used somewhere in the national grid which can light up a house. Encourage conserving energy big or small
