Hello brother. I'm a software professional, currently working in Australia, specially working electrical switchgear manufacturing company. I don't know anything about electrical domain. Today I Saw this video, really a excellent explanation. Keep it up a great job. God bless you. Valga Tamil. Could you explain about voltage angle, and other phasor measurements parameters

About DC transmission and Home use: DC நேரடியாக உபயோகிப்பது பாதுகாப்பற்றது.. என்னா Ac ஷாக் அடிக்கும்போது (When the sign wave drops to Zeeo)
Thanks for your explaining on AC and DC current. It really helps for the junior engineer who wants to be a Electrical engineer. Good luck and I am your subscriber now.
Bro, DC la tha loss athigam and shock heavy impact irukum, AC transmission loss low and shock impact low compare than DC because of +ve and - ve cycle. you should review this
Yarachum soluvangu nenachen . Shock impact ellam DC than athigam compared to ac . Yen ac la sinusoidal wave form la low agum appo namma kai eduthirlam if shock but dc apdi illa athu epovume peak la irukum dangerous too. Avaru inum konjem padikanum
The important factor is missed. The wattage is directionally proportional to square of the current. So, if transmission current is lowered, the power loss can be minimised during transmission. When AC voltage is stepped up, the current decreases proportionately. This way, when generated voltage is either stepped up or generated to 22KV, the current became milliamp. When the transmission is effected by milliamp current, the power loss is very minimum. This is the great advantage of AC and for this reason AC is preferred over DC. Moreover, RMS of AC voltage, deliver the same energy of DC of that AC RMS value.
Very good Information, to know this I spend almost 40 years. I had doubt to disturb the magnetic field why coil required other then cupper why not used it may save cost.
Super explanation brother..I am basically working as network engineer very much interested in Electrical and electronics but no proper guidance..Your videos are very useful and gathering more information...
Super bro .but Ac thaan long transmission kku better bro example 1 km kku ac volt 230 v send panduna 200 v. What you said is correct that DC is better for transmission but conversion of high voltage DC requires huge structures like power plants which is not possible to build at various places.
Still now I didn't no the movement of electrons concept for ac and dc ,it has been 7 years since I completed college great bro. My request ,do explain about Overload relay, star delta timer,Emf filter and special ELECTRICAL and electronic components.

There was even verbal war between Edison and Tesla at their times. Edison made lot of experiments to disprove the concept of Tesla's alternating current. Edison wanted to make DC current a great business, but Tesla liked to supply AC current to people at low cost. So Tesla asked a landowner a land for lease to set up a transformer. But the landowner refused to give as he thought this was a stupid idea to provide electricity at such a low cost and humiliated Tesla as a stupid guy not made this as a big business. The great Tesla couldn't achieve this feat. But the world started to celebrated Tesla now.
Super Bro, Well explained. But a small change in the last part of the video. The processor doesn't use AC. It uses DC with +ve current as 1(ON) and no current as 0(OFF). The ON OFF operation is done in the transistor.

Nice explanation. For Electric locomotives in railways we are using both DC and AC which is more efficient? In mumbai local they are using DC EMUs.
DC motor has more initial high torque which is highly need for electric train to startup. So, DC voltage is used.

Square wave also a alternative wave. Doesn't mean it's should be pure sine wave. Any voltage oscillation can be called as alternative wave.
