I just bought a cricut a few days ago, and I have searched dozens of times, in different wording, and watched at least 50 tutorials trying to figure out how to do this exact thing. Whenever I explain what I wanted to do, I couldn't explain it right.... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!! You explain it so simple and easy, and it is so easy for me to do in the software. THANK YOU!!

You’re welcome. I’m glad it was so helpful. If you’re looking for more Cricut tutorial on something specific let me know and I’ll try to point you in the right direction. Happy crafting.

Oh my goodness! This is a game changer for me. I’ve just been “eye-balling” layers and they sometimes come out all wonky. Thank you for sharing this easy technique!

I've always had issues with the vinyl sticking to the transfer the 1st time peeling it off is no trouble but to the tape gives me trouble even after multiple scrapes it's aggrevating lol... this is beautiful u did a great job

Thanks. Maybe try a different brand of transfer tape and see if that helps with layering.

@littlecraftnest I'll do that, thank you. I used the cricut brand u think it would be good right? Lol

@andybowlin2385 You can try using contact paper (clear shelf liner), it’s often the cheapest and works pretty good (not always the best on glitter though), I love the Teckwrap craft transfer tape (it’s what I used in this video), and Cricut’s new Linerless transfer tape seems to be better than their regular transfer tape. Try a few and see what you like best.

Can you use this method to align 2 different vinyls into one big piece before placing it on a mirror? And then also using the parchment paper between the TT and the mirror to make sure its straight before sticking it on the mirror?

I saw in another video the lady said if you are doing multiple layers you need to use heat when done? I was so confused i didnt thi k it was necessary for permanent vinyl

Definitely not necessary. I know some people like to use a heat gun over top afterwards if putting the decal on a cup but if done for too long or too hot it could melt the vinyl and cause the glue from the vinyl to melt around the edges. If putting decals on cups I recommend waiting 24 hours before using them.
