- This is a quick video of Jake's VY that was bagged all round using his second hand kit that he picked up for cheap.
Missing a few parts but pieced together what was needed to get this nice and low.

Watching this, make me so want me to put bags in my statesman
Nice work man the back wheels tuck under nicely
Killing it mate, that looks so good
Thanks mate!
Holden Commodore v6 or v8
D1Rs one of the best looking wheels ever for the Commodore (and Falcon).
That looks sweet I like the style of wheels too . Has it got a vq arm conversion to fit that much dish in the rear ?
It turned out pretty good and nah it's just the standard arms and cvs just barely fits. Can't air out without touching tyre it hits where the rear door meets the rear quarter but still gets low enough. The customer may be changing wheels in future but it does look nice on these anyway
Showtime fabrication do shortened irs kits in 30/50/75mm kits might be an option for your customer to get it aired out with those sweet wheels . Here is a link anyways showtimecustomsfabrication.com/collections/vt-vz-products/products/shortened-irs-kit-vt-vz
@@LatysGarage cheers mate yeah I have seen them before but this would need to be tubbed to do that haha touches the inside and outside just too much wheel for these vehicles ve vf would be fine but yeah pretty big on anything before that
These particular wheels (20x8.5 front, 20x10 rear) have the perfect offset for VT/VX/VY/VZ as far as I know. Definitely some rolling and maybe some trimming of rear inner guards but nothing needs to be changed.
@@sepsism138 what are they called ?
What’s the name of this bag kit use put in?
What’s the name of the bag kit u put in?
this was a customer supplied kit but i sell and install my own kits basically the exact same so 5 gal tank but i typically do dual compressors for an all round system and then your choice of autoevel or switches so typically use the MC1 for switches or accuair for autolevel etc
You wanna come bag my vy bro
What parts did you use?
Sorry what parts for what?
Are those drop in bags on the rear bro
No these are bolt ins. Drop ins don't have to cut spring locators out these go much lower than drop ins do but take more work to fit.
@@D2iAuto I'm having a hard time here in nz. For someone to fit bolt ins. They say it's to hard. And to much welding lols if you have any Mates here u wanna send me there way ?
@@jadewharawhara3851 haha you dont have to weld anything i just prefer to tac the bottom plates in so they cant ever loosen or spin but there are kits out there that have a nut and washer style bottom plate and they just do up from underneath.
other than that its just drilling holes in the right spots really.
I can do drop ins but they dont go as low and the way that go in isn't to my liking but i can get them and do sell them if requested
What are thoses gold wheels they are mean
@@rikimorton6951 no clue sorry was a customer's car
