Hey mate probably a long shot but I'm thinking of doing the same to my VS SS Commodore and was wondering If you have done a full airbag suspension conversion on one and does the nut you weld come with the kit and if some form of instructions come with it also curious on the wiring install. Cheers
Hey, Is is solid or irs if irs then its setup in the same manor in the rear fronts are different due to different strut tower i haven't made fronts for them before. rears is fine but fronts i havent done for them. Kits don't come with any instructions as its usually done by someone who knows/ has experience with airbags but a brief diagram and wiring diagram can be supplied easy enough. Feel free to email me darcydmartin93@gmail.com or contact my facebook page search d2i auto and sound. will be easier to reply there then youtube
This is such an awesome video. Thanks mate. I have a sigma sedan and the rear shock and spring is separate exactly like this Holden. So basically, an airbag kit will fit any car though the installation process is were the customisation comes in place? Sorry if it's a silly question, but I wanted coilovers for my car with zero luck so I'm looking at airbags. Love this channel 👍
Thanks for the kind reply and for watching! Yeah essentially a standard practice for a vast majority of bags that have a similar setup (external shock to spring) will use a double convoluted bag with majority either being 6" or 7" diameter. This is where you can make brackets or adapting plates to have them mount to the vehicle as required so essentially if then it's possible in most instances
@Padge993NZ yes of course would recommend autolevel, am currently eprkimg on my own autolevel system hoping to have complete over next few months but yeah I'd recommend it with height sensors over any pressure based system
I make custom circuits that go inside the clusters but currently am in the process of making a new one so am not doing them again till I finish that in spare time
I sell them if you're interested give my page a message on facebook or go to d2iauto.com.au and send a contact form. The kit is also available online on my website d2iauto.com.au/kits/154-ask-hc001.html
great looking car indeed. what crappy cheap looking wheels ppl put on them. anything that looks like a simmons wheel looks so cheap. HSV stock wheels look much more classy than the crap looking cheap simmons wheels. plus if ur gonna have an open spoke wheel. at least have 4 piston brembo or AP racing brakes, not the shitty single or twin piston crappy brakes most ppl have.
Awesome work man. . . Thx heaps for the help with the VT over the phone the other day.
No problem at all hope you got it sorted

I'm guessing these are bolt in bags instead of drop ins
Correct
@@D2iAuto what do you recommend drop ins or bolt ins?
@@Padge993NZ bolt ins they go a lot lower
@@D2iAuto thanks for that mate, do you recommend some sort of E level controler to pre set heights etc

That's the reason I'm upgrading my brakes before putting on 5 spoke wheels
