Yeah I noticed that too, especially the red gear at 0:40. Some of the outfits were quite silly looking in the original but these look great.

They showed a glimpse of it's gameplay it's pretty much a Rockbreaker
The new machines are over the top. They've truly outdid themselves for this game.
the giant snake, snaping turtle, saber tooth, plesiosaur/loch ness, pterodactyls, etc machine designs are just second to none, super hyped, pretty much included every type I'd want to see a machine version of, freaking raptors with chain saws for teeth, doesn't get more amazing

I’ve grown so attached to this franchise, seeing this made me almost scream it looks amazing!! The new machine and territory makes me even more hyped!

@@subduedpotato7216 originally it was an exclusive. It was only after nobody could get hands on PS5's that they decided that both Forbidden West and GoW Ragnarok will come to PS4 so more people can play it

The improvements across the board are amazing. Human combat looks really fleshed out now. Hopefully we get to explore more human ruins. I just realized that Horizon is pretty cyberpunk punk.
It's more post-post apocalyptic than Cyber punk punk,

I don’t think I’ll be able to go back to Zero Dawn, maybe in some years for the nostalgia of it. All this new mechanics, graphics, Haptic Feedback, Adaptive Triggers and more are going to put Forbidden West on another level.
Hopefully they patch haptics and Adaptive Triggers into the original. I REALLY want to replay it. I tried but after what Dual Sense did for Ghost of Tsushima’s Directors Cut I just couldn’t.
Yeah they are gonna have to make a 2.5 on the expansion of this game because Horizon 3 being exclusive on the PS5 with Unreal 5 gonna have HUGE shoes to fill,just saying.
@@zeokenx2 Put me in the minority in UE5 engine. I think Decima engine OBLITERATES IT. Go and look at the Matrix demo or even Hellblade 2. Please focus strictly on how blurry the background environs are. They focused all of their graphical assets on what they think ppl are looking at.

Some of the new xbox games look amazing and im super excited to play them but lets be real, none of them will be anywhere close to how fun this game will be.

This game looks absolutely stunning. It’s like they pretty much fixed all the stuff wrong with HZD and doubled down on everything that was great with it.

Melee combat and fighting humans didn't have much depth at all tbf
@@BOOG-2 for me it’s the normal conversation cutscenes, camera’s movement is choppy and stiff, so is the character’s animation

@@nicosanchez8261 Definitely not. That probably takes into account using wire traps or different elemental bombs but that's not very deep at all, just spinning the same concept a different way. The combat for the most part was pretty bland, definitely not the highlight of the game, nor is it what the game is praised for.

I bought HZD for PS4, then the DLC and now I just bought it on PC to play again that masterpiece before the sequel lands. This franchise is just a gift to all players who enjoy narrative games.
If this was an Ad i would definitely not skip it!
They put so much effort in be better than Zero dawn and Zero dawn was already incredible but now Forbidden west will be the pinacle of the experience that Gurrilla earn with Zero dawn.

Now this game feels more like Monster Hunter, but more fast paced with how Aloy moves and the addition of fighting underwater. I really hope the swimming and underwater combat don’t feel clunky, because some developers just can’t seem to make movement through water very streamline or fluid.

One more thought- how they're showing the sunbirds everywhere and they play big part on the boxart and end every single trailer, I think they'll play quite a substantial role. And the developers mentioned the sunbirds having to recharge their energy from the sun, so I imagine you won't be able to fly them at night and in the stormy areas- which would be a nice incentive why to clear them out (from corruption, enemies, strange devices, etc.)
