    Awesome vid mate. Keep them coming. I find that when I am on the water i confuse myself with what I am reading on the screen. And this video just helped me confirm that “yes that is a fish, rock and tree”.

    this was a fantastic breakdown and detail on the exact transducer we are looking at. One small tip maybe use a blue or green color to circle. red was fine but a couple times was lost in the background. appreciate this content, though well done! subscribed!

    Thanks much. Looking forward eagerly to see your follow-up videos. This one is very informative. Only suggestion for improvement for your consideration I have is to also show some screen shots using the old GT54 to target those thousands??? of us who just bought the 93 and 106 units with that older generation ducer. BTW thanks for the videos you've posted having shots of the 54 and 56 compared!

    Quick question, the unit I’m getting has the 54 transducer, my thinking is I don’t go deeper than 40 ft so the benefits of the 56 aren’t that important for me to spend a third the price more . Do you agree ? Thanks AL

  • @peterlong9629
    @peterlong9629 2 года назад

    Max, if you decreased the range, say down to 40ft, would you be able to see that tree on the right with a GT54? Is there more detail with shorter ranges?

    • @MGMarineTech
      @MGMarineTech  2 года назад

      Hi Peter.
      When you decrease the range you will make things/objects bigger on the screen which can make them easier to see.
      As far as that tree, with the gt54 I was able to scan 60-70’ tops so it should easily pick it up.

    Very good video-it is not realistic for me to see tiny dots and shadows while outside driving around. My eyes aren't that good and the glare and movement of the boat are too much for me to contend with.
