Thanks Sir , i'm come from Taiwan fishing guy , this video is very great knowledge and easy to know how to understand on side transducer for me , thanks a lot.
Finally got my 93sv installed today and took out to lake. Very pleased with the results, used settings you recommended, thank you so much for taking time to share with us rookies, we appreciate you
Got a question just got uhd 73 sv and its not showing my depth everything work great sv an dv and traditional but don't understand why depth not showing when using traditional and so on
@@terrygrindle3264 being honest it won’t be as clear as a ultra unit but if you keep the range tighter (50-80’) it will help. ALWAYS make sure side imaging is running the full width of the screen for best performance.
Hi am looking for a bit of help with a small installation on my boat. I already have a echomap 95sv installed via a nema2000 with a power cable to the unit aswell I am looking to install a echomap ultra 122sv and I want to network them together. Do I need another nema2000 drop cable and a power cable also?...any help would be great 👍 Cheers Col
Hey Colin. The units will need their own power cables. To network them you need a network cable, not the NMEA 2000 (that’s for other things not networking them) I suggest you take a look at my networking video, it will walk you through all of that.
@@MGMarineTech Thanks for the quick reply. That has cleared that up for me!.the power from the nema2000 backbone is only to power the nema2000 transceiver. I will run a power to the unit and connect them together via the Rj45 port's. Thanks for the heads up👍 Col
I’ve got the UHD93SV and excitedly passed over and by tons of bluegill beds this spring in shallow water 1-4 feet deep and not a one of them showed up on my side scan. I’ve got my brightness and contrast set at or near what you’ve recommended and they just don’t show up for me. I’ve found fish cribs and downed trees and such, so you’d think the hundreds of beds I passed would look like that but they don’t. I’ve also got that newest 56 transducer. Any ideas?
Thanks Justin. Great video. I hope to find some beds after the water temps warm up some. Water still in mid 40's here. Do they typically reuse a bedding area? What water temp in spring do they start bedding and is there an average depth you would look for them?
From year to year I see them in the same areas. They start spawning in the 65* temps but I’m sure they are making the beds before then and getting ready. Usually that 3-7’ I would assume depending on the lake
Hello, this might be off topic. I would like to ask if you know of software that can export the .rsd file from Garmin Echomap CHIRP to .csv file where the time and the corresponding xyz data are present? Thank you.
Well 455 will allow you to cover more water quickly.. but 1120 will have more details. 455 will most likely be clear enough to show them without issue.
Thanks for all the information! It’s really helpful. I just got two UHD93SV’s on my boat. There’s a lot to learn for sure.
Great illustration, thanks for sharing. Great images!!! We don’t have too many flats up close in our reservoir

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. It’s good to have someone break down the units. 🎣🎣🎣

Crappie should be schooled up by now I would think ???

Great video as always . Do crappie beds look the same in groups like that ?
Great video!

Send me pictures of what you are getting in those areas. Even with stock settings you should see them
@@MGMarineTech I might just do that in the future. That’s been a couple months ago now.
Thats awesome
This looks exactly like my lake. I have less beds though. I still can't find any crappy :(

I’m sorry I do not :(
What software are using to show sidescan
This is just a screen shot I took with the unit. And recording computer screen.
Hey just have a uhd 93sv what would be better for locating them 455 kz or 1120 kz I know 455 covers more distance what's your opinion ?? Thanks 👍
