Dunlop Mutants are a good winter tyre and they work all year round. If I had to ride in the snow and ice I would fit them. I currently have the BT023 good in cold and wet and dry roads.

yo nath bro, im 19 and don't have a bike licence however i haven't ridden one yet, i'm torn between yzf 125 and the cbr 500r, im not sure wether to just bash out my cbt, wait and get my a2 done, or do my cbt, ride around on the yzf for a little and build up the confidence etc. I don't really like the thought of L plates because i feel like drivers will be pricks to L platers, should i just get my cbt done, a2 and then just ride the yzf without L plates or.. A1 and cbt done? what's a better route mate cheers

Its not a bad idea to start on a YZF-R125 for a bit as you get some experience before you get a faster bike but if you've got the money, doing the A2 is also a great idea but time consuming at first :)

They are pricks to L platers, you just have to be a prick back. Be 10x more aware than other riders because the most common prick action is overtaking, which 99% of the time is a bit sketchy. Whichever path you take I wish you well bro, keep ya head up and looking round them corners!!🤟

I wanna get a yzf 125 next year. GG about the car license. Any suggestions about mods i could put on YZF? also like drop protectors?

Ive got a YZF R125 and to be honest it doesnt really need drop protectors. The triangle panels on the side act as crash protectors for the main parts of the bike. Ive had two different low speed crashes and both times i scratched one panel, scratched my exhaust and bent my brake lever but theyre all fixable easily. tldr you dont need drop protectors you can just get a new panel each crash.

ok. I am thinking of wrapping it tho. Nothing big. just som tron lines on the outer edge of each panel. Will a drop with the bike touch the edge of any panel?

@@IAmSwordless- Probably not the edges i have the gen 1 so o can only speak for the 2008-2018 versions but the scratches are all on the centre of the triangle panels
