@@0Flow0 That's just a year over 20 something. You think a magical windfall of happens between 29 to 30 just because of your age? So I think this commenter would say that 20 something or 30, both are unrealistic. Also, many people consider 20 something and 30 virtually the same. Plus, I don't think the character of herself is 30. She may very well be a 20 something also I think that that her age is deliberately kept ambiguous during the show for just that reason - their main target audience ranges from 20 something to at the very least 30 something.

I don't wanna watch this coz I don't like to compare myself to a 22 year old intern who can afford all this (apartment, designer items, food...) in Paris no less. YES I KNOW it is for entertainment...but we have SOOO many movies romanticised around this very issue. I wanna see an actual Emily in Paris... Where she actually stays in a realistic part of town, having to figure out how to make her wardrobe work for her job until she makes it big and is able to afford all this; i wanna see this hussle. "Emily in Paris...the Hussle" lol

What you can learn from this mess: there's no diversity in Paris, so not many women in hijabs, no immigrants, no tourists. Everyone is rich, so no homeless, and nobody ever takes the metro. Paris is so cheap everyone can afford an apartment close to the Sorbonne. And everyone bows down to monolingual USonians, because the world adores you.

Any difference between the first episode and the last one? Nope, she kept being the same one. They had the chance to create a very interesting new show and put it up with good casting, but they are just bringing the same old material. Come on, they can invest in improving the script.

The biggest lie of the show is that Emily is supposed to live in a "chambre du bonne" what a fu*king joke. Did the creators of this show ever seen one?? Her apartment looks like a penthouse compared to "chambre du bonne". She lives in a normal even modern apartment there. And is a bit similar to Gabriel's one. Soo soo far form how a "chambre du bonne" really looks like. I felt like the show was trying so hard to revel to the public this new french concept (for Americans) as to say "here, we've made our homework, we know so much of this french culture we just showed you a new part of it". At least do your research properly.
