Im glad you had Hadi on. Before the draft I accidentally came across his detailed breakdown of Jesse Pulkkinen. That caused me to do a deep dive on Jesse & was a guy I wanted for NYI assuming Eiserman & Connelly were gone. I never thought there was a chance we could move back 4spots & still get Pulkkinen. Especially after stealing Eiserman in 1st rd.
They did quite well to get Pulkkinen and Eiserman. I hope they can develop them. Hadi knows his stuff, always happy to have him on. Thanks for the comment, Kevin. LGI.

He's very confident in his abilities. Bednarik, 3rd round pick, jack of all trades, master of none. All of the picks sound promising, they just need to develop. Danny Nelson, strong forechecker. After listening to Hadi and Eiserman during his interview during the draft, I have to say I'm concerned we have drafted Ho Sang 2.0. When I hear someone described in the media as "confident", that's usually a code word for "a-hole" who doesn't listen to anyone. During his interview on draft day, one of the first questions he was asked was about his temper. Which, IMO, is a very unusual question to ask about someone on Draft Day when things usually are supposed to be light and positive. I think the Isles were so desperate for scoring, they ended up selecting a high risk/high reward player. Hopefully he works out better than Ho Sang, another player with a world of talent who never learned to play defense because he didn't listen to his coaches.
That is definitely a concern. He has to find that middle ground between doing things "his way" and fitting into the team concept. If he doesn't, he will be Ho Sang 2.0. Thanks for the comment, frogger1952. LGI

Yeah, sadly no surprise. Of course, the issue is Columbus refused to retain salary so Lou would have needed to trade 2 of "his guys" to fit Laine under the cap. Thanks for the comment, Steven.
