This scene is actually logical, because Ronan doesn't know terra culture. Songs, dancing, all unknown to him. So Ronan is weirded out by that, which is pretty hilarious. Something new to see.

This scene is so ridiculously stupid that it's brilliant. The sheer absurdity of the situation is actually logical reason for Ronan to be unable to mentaly digest WTF is he just seeing making this perfect distraction, and the fact that it last just for a minute means he didn't have time to snap out of confusion and use the stone to blast Star-lord to hell.
The best part of that scene is Ronan's utter confusion and tone when he asks the first time, "What are you doing?" You could hear the "wat" in his voice. You have to expect that Ronan, having met Thanos, would have seen some weird crap in the universe- but nothing as strange and unexpected as Peter Quill challenging him to a dance-off, reducing the Ronan the Accuser into Ronan the Bewildered. XD

All hope was lost for Xandar, and just when Ronan was about to destroy everything, he stops when the background music is silent and we hear Star-Lord singing. One of the most unexpected moments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, not to mention one of the best moments.

His acting is so serious that when he fight against all these goofy characters, he actually becomes funny himself. It's like if you took Al Paccino from the Godfather and pitted him against the Ghostbusters, it just cracks me up!
This movie was really incredible, I don't see the hate that this gets. It's not supposed to be a super, serious, superhero of seriousness. It's fun and enjoyable, just like Star Wars. Some people have legitimate criticisms, which is understandable and some are just people pretending they know how to be critics. Either way, I as a Marvel fan, love this movie for what it is: a good movie.
This is actually one of my favourite MCU films. Those who'll bash me for enjoying this movie shall go watch Daredevil or The Winter Soldier to see that the MCU can also be mature, dark, and gritty.
