I liked the lion king 2019 film. I thought the fact the animals felt like real animals made the emotional scenes hit harder for me. they didn't need to have overly exaggerated emotions and facial expressions for me to connect with the film.

Rocket actually comes a long way as a character. He goes from a wandering asshole with only a partnership with Groot to finding a whole family with something more to fight for. Dude pretty much becomes a hero. Gotta love that.

No’ alright so he is from an alien species which ressembles raccoons on Earth. He and his species were abducted by someone called the High Evolutionary who experimented on living species trying to evolve then like Ash Ketchum. However, Rocket was more of a toy to him since as he said in GOTG, he was pulled a apart and put back together a bunch of times. He was treated as an experiment with no one to help him. The only one who he trusted was Groot. Now, he has a whole family aka The Guardians of the Galaxy. And more to say, he is definitely on par with Stark in terms of intellect since he literally makes his own weapons in GOTG and GOTG vol 2 and he does come up with plans. Most of the plan in GOTG to save Xandaar was HIS idea in fact, he literally says in this video ‘I told you I had a plan’

Rocket is objectively the best character in the entire MCU and at least in the top ten characters out of all media. The GoG is probably the only franchise I look forward to seeing more of as the MCU continues... Maybe that new Thor movie too.
Rocket needs to lead the Guardians. He's way more level headed and grounded than any other member. And his combat skill is pretty much genius.
