I have to smile when I watch you talk in this video. First, I want you to know that one of the biggest reason i watch your videos is because of your husband. I am always hoping to catch some clips of him with the kids or where he is helping you in the kitchen doing what he can even in his diminished capacity. I am always hoping to see your interaction with him and I wish he was a bigger part of some of the video clips. I watch your videos because you all are a real family. I don't care that you aren't in Hawaii or that you aren't growing kale in your back yard. What I love watching is how committed you are to your life, your subscribers and your family. I personally know how that feels because I am there on RUclips with you, believe me. I feel like I am not getting anywhere at times, and I question why I am doing this when so many other people are already doing this and doing it much better, while they look much prettier than me. So, I get it, really. But your family and your struggles are your strength. I know you already know this, but you motivate me and many others. You are not perfect. You are not living amongst bamboo in Hawaii. You are just a real girl with a real family. And, that's why we love you. All our love from Phoenix and more clips with Nick please! I love seeing the two of you. Don't clean the house, don't make perfect RUclips videos, just give us you and your family. That is perfection right there.

I needed this. My life is difficult (like a lot of peoples!) and I've found that I'm becoming less attracted to the perfect vegan youtubers and actually find them irritating. I don't have a perfect life, I work shifts, have neurodiverse kids, anxiety, budget restraints etc so watching people who can afford to buy really expensive stuff, live in a really clean house on a beach in the tropics had actually started to negatively affect my mental health. I love your honesty and relatability.

I am in my 50's and seriously struggled with weight ever since my mid 40's. I am 5' 4" and weighed in at 165 lbs. Felt miserable, sluggish and unmotivated. Decided to give WFPB a chance after failing miserably with other diets. Today I weigh in at 135 lbs with a goal weight of 130 lbs. I have had bindging days but never deviated from wfpb and am impressed that it didn't result in weight gain. If anything it kept me at a consistant weight until my body got back on track and then started losing weight again. I relate with all you have said. Thank you for being so vulnerable whether good or bad. Hang in there and thank you for your motivational videos.

The hitch I have with diet/health support apps like yours is the lack of exercise choices for folks who have physical limitations. As an “old polio” lady dealing with progressive loss of physical strength it would be helpful to see something adapted to wheelchair users (no steps to count for us).
Your videos - you - are a huge support. I’ve been thinking I’m the only struggling vegan fatty out here.
Thanks, hope you can feel the love coming to you and yours.

So our app is completely customisable and is really just a tool used by our coaches and clients… everything in our program is personalised to what YOU need to succeed, so being in a wheel chair or not having a set goal isn’t an issue. You can 100% still get results without walking.

Something I will take away from your video is the part about when you feel like you can’t eat the perfect meal, not to eat the worse meal either, but to try and have the next best thing. Like add veggies to your takeaway or make your normal salad but have some bites of the pizza. I’m also going to try the charts. I’m a stay at home mum of 2 and I homeschool them, so sometimes it’s having an extra coffee out of boredom or can’t be bothered to make something so I found it comforting to know that not everyone is perfect in RUclips.
P.s the perfect families who dress kids all in white linen have loads of washing to do all the time and we don’t haha

Hi Chelsea, this is so helpful! I can relate to everything you are saying. I was diagnosed with 2 types of cancers and during a biopsy they cut an artery in T3. Result was I was paralyzed from the chest down. I am improving on every front. Walking again and getting through treatments. I know a plant based diet is best for me. I have been on steroids for almost a year and now I seem to be gaining weight rapidly. I think your advice is perfect. I have to just do the best I can right now and have compassion for myself in the process. My grandpa had MS. I loved him so very much. Sending a love and positive thoughts to you and your family from the USA. I have followed you since you started on RUclips and as a nurse specializing in Immunology and Infectious disease I can empathize with all you are dealing with. I know you don’t want or need any advice, but I just wanted to put it out there about the amazing results we are seeing in patients with autoimmune diseases including MS working with Dr Brooke Goldner M.D.
She wrote the book Goodbye Autoimmune Disease and Goodbye Lupus. She lives in Texas and works online with patients all over the world dealing with autoimmune diseases. Many were already plant based, but needed her protocol to heal. Everything she teaches is free on her website so there is nothing pay unless patients want to work with her directly or have medical complications like kidney failure or cardiac conditions that require close monitoring.
Any information to slow or stop the progression of autoimmune diseases is crucial so I just wanted you to be aware of this information to research if you choose. Thanks for all you do to promote a healthy plant based lifestyle.

Lovely Chelsea. you are loved by your beautiful, wonderful family, you are so lucky! I can only imagine how difficult things get sometimes, but remember that there are a lot of people in the world that go through life without ever being loved at all, or without having any support, experiencing kindness, justice, a feeling of safety, good health, etc. You've lost a lot of weight and maintained your weight loss (and you help people too so big pat on the back!) - I too keep going because having lost weight and maintained my ideal weight for 3 years gives me a huge sense of achievement and confidence when everything else is stressful and difficult. What we've achieved is no small thing. At 57 I also look better than I did when I was young, fat and with bad skin. Thanks to people like you I stay on track with my WFPB lifestyle and after decades of starving and bingeing I've even started to listen to my body fullness/hunger cues, which I never thought possible. You are young and full of energy so stay strong, grateful, positive and content, don't think about the future too much if you can. YOU DESERVED THAT NAP!!!!!!! And the video is brilliant, thank you for your honesty. Sending you love from London xxxxx Lulu

Chelsea, You so remind me of a friend I had when I was in my 20's We were two peas in a pod.. (I'm now 72). I've been plant based for around 18 years and I have been watching RUclips Plant Based videos for a long time now. You are a favorite of mine. You are so honest and so real. And in this crazy ass world of ours you are something of a rarity, especially since you are so much in the public eye! God Bless You!
I have watched many Hawaiian idealized plant based family videos and though I have enjoyed it for the most part sometimes I'd like to hurl.
It's lovely to be able to live in paradise with a wonderful family life BUT I have objections to mom's who have young sons and run around pulling out their breasts for the camera to breast feed, no less, over and over and over again in every video. It's like, "Okay, we get it, you're lactating and want some viewing of your boobs." And those same moms with those young sons also wearing thong bikini bottoms with their own bottoms hanging out for all to view is not a great idea...to me it's more about being exhibitionists without regard to their sons (or meek and mild husbands) which may add to later confusion to say nothing about possibly having those boys being very uncomfortable in the present. And, this is also to say nothing about the example set to young daughters. Constantly trying to get away with the least amount of clothing possible and exposing your boobage and buttocks is not setting the best example to the daughters.
I give you so much credit for being as strong as you are....strong, funny, intelligent and so creative and playful with those babies of yours.
You are wonderful at teaching the Plant based, starch centered dietary way of life. You cover the bases wonderfully well. And, I love your meal plans.
You're a good girl and once again, Chelsea, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! I am praying for you, your little ones and your husband.

So sorry. I got a health condition in my late 20s and was mostly housebound/bedbound with 4 very young kids for about 5 years. It felt like the valley of the shadow of death. Like you said sometimes you just have to survive the next minute. Not many can relate, it's so hard. Not gonna give you advice, but just know there are other young people out there struggling daily. And having kiddos on top of that is even more stressful.

Thank you for sharing and being real. I’m a teacher who has had all summer off and didn’t get done 1/10 of what I had planned. I’m now about 10 days away from returning and I’m so disappointed in myself. There were a lot of setbacks and things that got in the way, but the biggest thing was still me and I just can’t seem to pull it together. I also can’t seem to appreciate any of things I did accomplish.

Thank you, currently I'm struggling with my weight. I've been quite lean last years but now I'm heavier then ever, that thought is stressing me out. It's freaking hard to get back to the 'old' habits, and it's more difficult bc that habits where obsessive or at least big part of it. It's so hard where I can draw the line, find that line actually to a not restrictive and obsessive way of thinking about food and still eating healthy and also loosing weight like pffff It's incredibly overwhelming and makes me so sad and anxious.

Chelsea you are literally an inspiration. You are an amazing woman, mother, and wife. Thank you for these videos. Your honesty and level of vulnerability makes it SO easy to relate to you. I will never be the mom in the pristine house with the kids in matching clothes. My house is a mess. I am a mess. I'm not perfect. It's real life. I have been watching your videos for at least a year now and I just want to say how much I appreciate you

Long story but realizing I don’t have to be 100% is a huge help. I’m 77 and decided it was time to stop using my age as an excuse to get healthy. I was vegan for four years and had to give it up because I became anemic but it really bothered me. Now I’m back and I take supplements and try to eat better and exercise. Also I’m about to have the rest of my teeth removed so that’s a whole other challenge but I’m doing smoothies and a lot of healthy soups.

I’m not into the white frufru houses & fake people on yt.
I’ve learnt so much from you already!!! One of my next best things when I’m feeling a bit crap is to keep drink my 2litres of water a day. Feel more energetic & more likely to eat better too.
    Hugs from Australia 🤗🇦🇺
