I am so excited to meet you...I've been making my Cricut world waaayyy too difficult. Your tutorial is down-to-earth. Easy to understand and professional without being too complicated. I am so happy I found you and will watch ALL of your submissions. Thank you for taking the time to educate others!!
I needed this---bought a Maker then felt like it was a mistake since scrapbooking is my main thing and thought this was more for bigger crafting! Thank you!
It’s sad Cricut has moved away from scrapbookers. Glad to see this video and yes I remember the Lisa Bearnson & David Venable days, I loved those QVC Craft Days.
Glad I'm not the only one who remembers the QVC Craft Days! Good times! It makes me sad that Cricut has moved away from its origins. I understand that the sublimation and all that stuff is big now and that they're going where the money is, but it would still be nice if they had more stuff and innovated for papercrafters as they do for other crafts. They also did sewing for a hot minute which is why I got the Maker because they hyped it for cutting fabric. I've made quilts and bags with the Maker and it worked perfectly. But they abandoned that too. Oh well, I'm still going to stand up for Cricut and scrapbooking/papercrafting on this channel!
An awesome fine! I am decluttering my makeshift craft room and have decided to keep "everything scrapbooking", being this is why years back I purchased my Cricut. Thank you in advance as I move forward and browse through your videos.
Ooh good question! I’ve been exploring Bible journaling myself and purchased some supplies. Off the top of my head, labels/tabs for chapters or bookmarks. I’m sure there are others. This is definitely a video idea I’ll work on. Thanks for asking about this topic!
Thank you so much for doing this video! Do u have a cricut joy? I have one that I wound love to use it for my scrapbooking! Right now it’s just sitting in the box lol are u going to more detailed video on maybe how to make a title, layout, sticker etc.?
Hi Laurie! I don’t have a Joy…yet. 😀 I want to experiment with it. But yes, I will have more videos on using Cricut for scrapbooking in the coming days and I’m developing a workshop with specific projects for Cricut machines. So stay tuned!
I found this very refreshing because I bought my Cricut Joy ONLY for papercrafting... specifically for bulletin boards at church and to embellish my Bible journaling... then I felt kind of "lame" because everyone else uses it for more advanced projects, lol. But seriously, I'm doing SUCH cool things for my boards and journal, and I'm just getting started!
The bulletin board and Bible projects sound fun! There’s so many cool things you can do with the Cricut tools and it looks like you’ve hit upon a few of them. Thanks for watching and sharing how you’re using your Joy. 🙂
