When owners are involved with roster construction it is ALWAYS bad
The most alarming thing Gores said was that he and Troy Weaver decide on the moves and that he n Monty Williams discuss lineups with each other. No wonder they’re on a 27 game losing streak!!

Bad Coaching 2
Gores is clueless when it comes to what it takes to run a successful franchise. Wasn’t he at the helm when he hired Stan Van Gundy and made him GM and coach. Van Gundy went on to sign and hand out very bad contracts to mediocre players.
Troy Weaver can’t even talk. Monty just here to collect his 95 mil. They finessed Gores.
Gores hired the BEST AVAILABLE once they became available. It's WHAT HE DOES.

Gores needs to fire Troy Weaver & Co. and reach out to Adam Silver to help him search for more qualified personnel. Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of these pro sports owners are too proud to reach out for help when things are going south and want to fix things themselves. Little do they know, it's very hard for anyone to be successful at anything without help. I mean, getting a new job usually requires help by a reference within the company putting in a good recommendation (and so on). Gores got help to success by his uncle (although he was a controversial figure) to help build his empire. WCF was also stubborn and frequently refused help from the NFL office and continued to lose because he refused help. As long as Gores tries to fix things himself and do things his way without reaching out for help, the team is doomed to fail for years to come. 🤜🎤
