Jim Bruer is an underappreciated multi-talented individual! For many, this would have been a surreal moment, but for Jim it seemed like..."oh, hey Rob. How's it going?" Go JB, go!
@@Drcool1042 me too guys me too😂😂shitt my pants or faint right away😂😂😂jimbo has awesome job!! Wow I would be in heaven working as he..oh well maybe someday cause you never knows right??
All fun and games until 2:31 when Halford realizes that the band has actually made it up to the hairy ass vocal change section of this song (which will require some serious full head voice skills). At 2:34 Breuer realizes that Halford has gotten quite serious all of a sudden (just look at Breuers face). Then at 2:38 Halford takes a drink and points at Breuer to take the beginning of the part of which I speak. Breuer handles it pretty well (although messes up the lyrics). Halford then decides at 2:45 to go into full on "Metal God" mode the rest of the way out. Just priceless stuff. \m/
I mean, who the the HELL does Rob think he is... walkin into another man's studio, bold as brass, cold, off the street and proving, once again who is the METAL GOD !
All hail mighty HALFORD , holy shit that was awesome.Rob is such a cool guy, very polite , calm but when he screams the heavens shake. Hats off to Jim he did damn good . Enjoyed thanks for the post
Sirius was so goddamn fun to listen to back then. You could follow the ripple effect of things like this happening across the different shows. Random people popping up on shows they weren't scheduled for and Breuer doing legendary stuff like this. It was just amazing to follow as a listener.
My favorite part is Jim’s honest human reaction at 2:34 when he tells Rob who will start the next line during the vocal break and then has the “oops! I just told the king what to do!”
This is beyond awesome. For a guy like me who grew up on this music, to have a chance to do something like this would be incredible. Thanks to the amazingly talented Jim Breuer for making this happen. He appreciates everything Priest's music represents to generations past, and to come. Halford is nothing short of a pure music icon, and Priest's music and musicianship is as raw, powerful, and pure as they were 30 years ago. They ought to be in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame for that alone. And if Halford ever decides retire, and I hope he doesn't, Breuer would be a top shelf stand in I'd pay to see. I'd love to see them singing together onstage with Priest. Now that would be cool......
Jim you are awesome!! As a Singer or as a comedian!! Love you so much cause you make me laugh all the time!! Thanks for making my life a little bit better!!
The guy in the background that is animated and mimicking Jim signing reminds me of John C Reilly’s character in Boogie Nights when Dirk was singing “you got the touch”. Singing in the background along to Dirk.
Welcome to fantasy island ! Halford is in my fantasy but as a metal god forever making all who supported him thru thick and thin feel appreciated. He knows how he got where he is .\m/\m/
I don't know what it says about me that I idolize the master Rob Halford and at the same time can listen to hours of Crosby Stills Nash and Young or Paul Simon/Garfunkle. Saw JP in Dallas 1981. Was not that into them before the show, lifelong fan after it.
I will always be a True Metal Head, Classically Trained Vocalist, yadayada... My Greatest Vocal Idols are DIO, Halford, Tate, Warrel Dane, etc... But Andrew Wood is one of the Free-est, Most Honest Singers I have Heard, Since Day One... That Cat Pours His Soul Out with Every Note and Nuance... He Changed the Dynamics of the Music Industry with Mother Love Bone... Never Has there been nor shall there ever be another band like MLB . RIP Landrew, Your Silence Is Deafening \m/
This one won the Internet for me today. Always thought of Brian Johnson when Priest did this one live, and here, we've got a guy known for his impression of Johnson, complementing Rob Halford. That little giggle at 5:12 was just the cherry on top of it, too.
Is there anything he CAN'T do?? Damn! He's sexy, funny got an amazing singing voice, big hearted, caring ! PERFECT COMBINATION!! Yes Jim Bruer I think you're amazing!
Jim, thanks for this. I'd sing a duet with Rob any day and I'd suck at it, but he's one of my early rock heroes too. Saw them live in the late 70's opening for Foghat (I think it was) in San Antonio, TX. "Stand up for Exciter.." just about tore my eardrums out and I loved it!
Jim Bruer and Jack Black should definitely start a band. They both can sing like pros and they are the gateways that connects pop culture and heavy fuckin metal. It will be huge.
15 years ago.. Still a Classic.
Rockin' out to a Priest classic, turn around and there's Rob Halford - no big deal. \m/
😂😂😂
"Oh shit!".. tells a different story 😅
Jim Bruer is an underappreciated multi-talented individual! For many, this would have been a surreal moment, but for Jim it seemed like..."oh, hey Rob. How's it going?" Go JB, go!
im sure it was surreal..
What a cool job.
I think inside, Jimbo was absolutely shitting himself, and for good reason. I would have passed out cold.
@@Drcool1042 me too guys me too😂😂shitt my pants or faint right away😂😂😂jimbo has awesome job!! Wow I would be in heaven working as he..oh well maybe someday cause you never knows right??
Jim Bruer could have had a career as a metal singer. This was brilliant.
Every couple years when I need a boost I still watch this.
Jim Breuer is a hell of a singer!
\m/
Yeah for 4 minutes then he needs to recover for a month.
@@nemonucliosis Better than never, with no need to recover.

underrated comment
It's definitely not an easy song to sing. And it isn't even one of Priest's big hits.
But a tune that can build so much tension throughout. One of my favs!
This is one of the greatest moments in the history of heavy metal
Though Halford does not look like a metal rocker, it is very uncommon even today for a metal rocker to be hairless.
I think he looks great
I wanna hang out with Rob Halford. He seems like a cool guy. Laid back and humble.
He is very humble, the band fight came to my house after a show in co springs!!!!
And so gay he could sit on a tree stump and tell you how old it was 😂
Halford's voice hasn't changed at all! I'm shocked. What a talented man
Going toe to toe with Halford lol Jim has earned his spot in greatness.
Shit, for Jim, a childhood dream came true this day. Jim is such a metal head this made him extremely happy, you can see it in his face.
I don’t know how I would react if I was rocking out to Priest and just turned around to see Rob Halford.
ROB HALFORD has to be one of the most badass singers hands down.
Still a fave vid to visit every once in a while
I mean, who the the HELL does Rob think he is... walkin into another man's studio, bold as brass, cold, off the street and proving, once again who is the METAL GOD !
I can't tell you. Smiles. Just pure and I needed to see this.
Jim Bruer is very talented & underappreciated & underrated! I believe he deserves more recognition!

this is my new favorite video of all time
This video never gets old..🖤🤘
It just keeps getting better
Love that guy's reaction behind Halford at 02:42.
halford's like:
"let me show you kid" haha

I smiled so hard my face almost fell off!!
That would be fun.
How cool was that?? You can hardly tell which one was singing!!! Hats off to Rob Halford & Jim Breuer!!
Best ever.
Holy crap Jim! Knew you could do these voices in your act, but how did you never become a metal singer?!?. That was awesome man!
FUCK! THIS IS PURE EPICNESS!!
Rob Halford-Still the BADASS!
The Halford-Breuer rock'n'roll monster twin duo just blew me away. F.kin brilliant.
My favorite part is Jim’s honest human reaction at 2:34 when he tells Rob who will start the next line during the vocal break and then has the “oops! I just told the king what to do!”
Halfords voice is amazing! \m/ ♥ \m/
Jim is a heavy metal goddamn fan!!!
Saw Priest late in 2015 -- Rob could still hit every single note. GREAT show.
I love this. Love Rob Halford. Judas Priest is amazing.! Love Jim too. Great voice!

It's hard to believe Rob Halford is 60 years old. What a gift from God.
Rob is the master of rock.

Breuer totally ups his vocal game when he notices Rob in the room. Anyone would! Gotta love Jim Breuer and Halford.
Priest Priest Priest. Damn right! Metal Gods . Damn that was insane. Loved it!

This. Video. RULES! \m/
I wanted Breuer to sing for my Priest tribute band when I lived on Long Island .... never came to fruition.
PRIEST ! PRIEST! PRIEST !
The guy in the background that is animated and mimicking Jim signing reminds me of John C Reilly’s character in Boogie Nights when Dirk was singing “you got the touch”. Singing in the background along to Dirk.
What a wicked comedian.
Horns up for eternity. \m/♾
Rob Halford of Judas Priest
is one cool lead vocalist.
Jim Breuer kicked ass...
I've been following you for years brother you are the most funniest guy
That fucking rocked! My face hurts...

In the end of song:
„I believe...”
„No! I believe...”
Most funny :)
I just ran into him in Hillcrest, CA after dining at KIP's Restaurant Today. Rob and my wife took a photo for her birthday. The METAL GOD!!!!!
Speechless ❤

The guy can just pick up the mic and belt out a song and still hit every note, now that is talent personified.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘✌✌✌✌✌💣💣💣💣💣💣
Is there anything he CAN'T do?? Damn! He's sexy, funny got an amazing singing voice, big hearted, caring ! PERFECT COMBINATION!! Yes Jim Bruer I think you're amazing!
