Los Angeles Clippers are one of three teams that never reached the NBA Conference Finals - and they have the second-worst winning percentage of all NBA franchises. Here is the story about the Clippers Curse, the worst owner in NBA history, bad GM's, and horrible injuries. We'll explain how a team in the best possible market managed to waste decades of draft picks, trade future Hall of Famers, and make it a complete misery to be their fan.

As a Clippers fan, most of this is depressingly true... BUT one thing that you said that isn't true was when you said when the Clippers went after Kobe, he didn't laugh in their face. He actually said to Sterling 'Don't worry, I'm a Clipper'. Then he spoke to Jerry West who told him that he couldn't play for that owner and he decided to stay with the Lakers but the move was close. Can't say I blame him though. But it's not true that he didn't consider the Clippers.

So it was foreshadowing that Sterling would be revealed as a racist piece of shit. Too bad Paul, Griffin, Jordan, and others were under him once they heard. But I'm glad Kobe stayed.

The Nba was very hesitant on moving the Clippers to Los Angeles
The NBA said no to the move to LA but the Clippers moved anyway. That's why the league sued them. The board of directors recommended they get rid of Donald Sterling but the new commissioner David Stern said no

They finally make it to the conference finals in 2021 but the curse showed itself again when Kawhi tore his knee up

The worst franchise in sports history. Not just NBA-wise. At least teams that are cursed now or used to be cursed tried to make moves to make the best possible scenarios for them at one point. Yes, even the Lions and Browns. The Clippers couldn't and didn't want to do that for decades until 2010. And even then they proved why they shouldn't be competing no matter what team they have because they blew a 3-1 lead. TWICE. IN 2 DIFFERENT ERAS. Philadelphia did that too, but at least they won championships right before or afterwards. At least the Capitals made it past the second round more than once. At least the Cubs, Blues, Nationals, Cavs, Raptors, Dodgers and Eagles broke their curses recently. At least the Browns and Lions tried to be good in the time the Clippers were either tanking, got injured FAR too much or getting destroyed in the first round.
Unless this franchise wins it all next season (I highly doubt it...), THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY FUCKED. Kawhi and the guy who wouldn't be named again until he gets his shit together will leave and they will have no first round picks until 2026. The chemistry is already horrible as it is and Montrezl Harrell is already a free agent. Their future is more fucked than Philly and Houston.

Nothing inexplicable about those moves they made as the Braves. They were intentionally blowing up the team so the fans would stop coming to the games. They had an out clause in their lease if they sold less than 5K season tickets they were allowed to leave. They got rid of everyone and the fans stopped buying tickets. Then they swapped owners with the Celtics and moved to San Diego
No matter how "good" the Clippers are, the team will never win over Los Angeles. The Clippers should move to Seattle and re-name themselves the Supersonics. They'll have a better and bigger following. Just watch Kawhi and PG-13 leave after this upcoming season.

@@tarunganesg9700 It's true that LA is more of a Lakers town than Clippers, but with the population size and media market, the Clippers preform well in LA than any other major city in the NBA. Same goes for the Brooklyn Nets in NYC.

NYC is a Knicks town and I can assume LA is a Lakers town. However, while Nets are the second team in NYC, the team is profitable because there are enough casual fans to justify their existence in Brooklyn. But, if the Nets were terrible, those numbers would drop.
Until the utah jazz did what they do best, give other teams their greatest moments. Where the top seed jazz lost 4 in a row to the clippers in the 2021 playoffs. This aged well.

I didnt know Dantley played for the Braves. So this team could/should have had McAdoo and Dantley gunning from the wings and Mo Malone patrolling the paint with the incomprable Dr. Jack directing from the sidelines? That would mean no BlazerMania, no Fo-Fo(Fi) Fo, and no Dantley for Aguirre trade? More importantly no Donald Sterling and there would likely been no Clippers at all because there would have been a strong team in B'Lo? My heavens!
They also had Randy Smith & he was an all star guard. All 4 of them would've played together.
They didn't mention it in the video but the owner broke that team up to get out of their lease with the city of Buffalo. They did have a bad lease. Make the team bad enough that the city didn't want them. They broke that team up in 1976. Two years later they're in San Diego
