Love the vid. What a promising spot! Get with me if you ever come through Colorado to hunt. Have tons of great permissions. Any wait to see what else you find here.
I appreciate you showing proper research techniques I just recently got into the hobby and did my own research and I really appreciate the knowledge just subscribe to your channel good work man
Sorry for the delay. Yes, it is. From my research it is an upper cinch buckle for a confederate artillery officer's saddle. Most likely a Texas regiment. Thanks for watching!
Hey guys I've bought all my detecting gear from you over the years always great to your customers. You ever get back to this site??? If ya need some extra people swinging in that big ass field I'm down 🤣 ✌️ I'm out in Gardner Ks now.
I thought I was subscribed all ready, but just realized the button was red , but im subscribed for sure , maybe just a crazy year, I think I got something from the shop also, but yep, its just bene a mess of a year for us all im sure, any how , enjoying the vid and happy hunting!
Would love it if you would come to my little cafe in Oskaloosa so we could sit down and compare notes on sites here in Jefferson County. I believe we have the oldest settlement in Kansas but if you found one earlier I would like to know more
@@rollonbc Sorry for the late reply. Hard to stay on top of the comments. We would love to come up and visit. Give me a call at the shop next week and we can work something out. 913-685-3647
Extinct ghost town??? It's not extinct...As long as someone remembers, it's not exactly extinct.... Interested in your adventure and, I have great hope you will find treasure... Be it money or cool relics!!! Swing away and find something really nice... 👍🕊️🤓
New sub here but please get a windsock. We are moving to N Central Ks soon and I look forward to hunting. I am about to get my first detector. Good luck in the future. Y'all havagudun.
I just ran across this. I have to say thanks for not rubbing the sh!t out of the coin you found. Or taking of all things a coarse wire brush to it. It's really annoying to watch people destroy them like that. The fact is, you might have found a penny or quarter worth a lot more than just the face value.
@@midwesttreasureandrelicrec7914 Every machine I've ever used I hated at first but after using them and getting used to them i fell in love with them all. You have to get out and use them and understand the differences. Its how bad you want to find things!! Thats just my opinion and I'm no expert but i've hunted for a minute. As far as a busted machine... Garrett,Fisher and minelab etc... have great records on fixing problems.
I clicked cuz of a beautiful woman detecting and a old man was there bruhhhh lmao... nah but nice find lol I'm 20 thinking about buying a metal detector as I live in historical New mexico close many mining towns and a couple war sites
Well, clearly you are an expert. But I know what you don't. Also, we have never planted items...and if we did don't you think it would be better stuff? :)
É isso aí companheiro detectorista. Pois eu também tenho um canal no RUclips: Leon detectorismo. E seu vídeo me dá mais ânimo pra continuar essa aventura. Pois se for possível se escreva no meu canal: Leon detectorismo. Obrigado!! Que DEUS abençoe sempre sua vida! Em nome do senhor Jesus Cristo.

The horse brass was great. I found one with a will-o'-the-wisp. The made a ton of designs.

It's called good'ol clickbait, they all know were are getting tired of watching overweight middle-aged men metal detecting.
@@patprop74 True that...worked though didn't it? ;)
I quit metal detecting only because I ask land owners and home owners in Kansas if I could metal detect there property. They tell me no.

I bought a Garrett Ace 400 from high plains an I've had nothing but problems with it!
Jeremy, have you contacted us or Garrett to see if we can take care of the issue?
Both High Plains Prospecters and Garrett have top notch customer service I would recommend reaching out to resolve your issue.
