What an incredible piece of American history. I would be out of my mind trying to open it up without damaging it. It would be terrifying to undertake that knowing that one false move could break it. Glad you succeeded Jason. Congratulations!!

What a find. A needle in a haystack seems like a walk in the park compared to your find. How cool you got to be the one to find it. It seems so often all the others are making the great finds and you are so busy with the filming of the hunt that you don't have much time to detect. Congratulations on finding something so rare.
The button Rich found with stones might be marcasite. The silver piece Doug found is a sterling salt and pepper shaker. Nice seated dime Matt. Great find Jason, a GW button is the find of a lifetime. Great day all around. Congratulations to everyone.

I recently had a elderly 80+ years old land owner as me a 60 year old man why in the world I would want to tromp around her field which had a early 1800s school house Torn down long ago and if I could only show her this video as she does watch you tube but I did try to explain it’s about history and the little things that if they could only talk. Congratulations Jason you truly deserve that button….
Great intro! I so wanted to fast forward through to when the great find was uncovered. But I held back letting the suspense build... I'm at the point where Doug found the silver tea strainer like thingy. And I had to break, and now I'm back. Can't wait to finish up your day here!! Just finished and wow, so awesome! While I would have been thrilled with any of the team to find this...I am so glad it was you Jason! So, what is next on the bucket list? 💰
