Hi Alexander , the pennies and pull tabs are just the things you find in between gold and silver finds . My detector has built-in battery pack that is rechargeable so no need to buy batteries . My Fisher CZ21 uses 4 - 9v batteries . I bought rechargeable batteries for that one too so I don't need to keep buying batteries. Metal detectors have come a long way over the years . @@idigdaytona4478 I actually found a 14kt wedding band the other day and almost $7 in clad. All of it was way up near the dunes! Amelia Island got a lot of erosion from Ian allowing for Nicole to push the coins across the flat beach.
Great finds! The rings are awesome still pulling this first gen pull tabs is so cool too. Even a silver quarter too. The beach devastation is quite extensive. Hopefully they can rebuild the beach for summer!

Back in the 60’s the best lace to find treasure was off Sebastian inlet after a hurricane as there are loads. Of shipwrecks just off the shore. Everything from emeralds to gold and silver. This might be a perfect time to look there after this hurricane.
Hi Teresa , yes , the 1715 fleet wrecked from Ft Pierce inlet to Sebastian inlet. Surprisingly they didn't get that much beach erosion this time. Not much being found down there after this last storm . There has been a lot of re-nourishment sand added over the years to stop the beach erosion . This last storm removed some sand but from what I have heard it was just the re-nourishment washing out. It is a fun place to metal detect because you just never know what will show up . If nobody else said, the bracket is a conduit clamp. It goes in a channel type tube and slides where you need it, then you tighten it up on your conduit. Basically a construction type item.
Hi Brian , did you say 43 wheat ? Aren't they supposed to be made of steel ? Or do I got the dates mixed up ? Oh yeah , the tunnels to the beach reminded me of the late sixties early seventies when I would drive my hot rod 68 Camaro through them and rev it up . With the Thrush glass packs on the car it was ear deafening ! Those were the days !

Hi SBD , I am hearing we could get hit by another hurricane around December 5 . After this cold front moves up and out of here it will form south of Cuba and move up into Florida. It would be a very late storm. We should know more in a week or so . Keeping an eye on the tropics for another few weeks. Thanks for watching .

used to detect beaches in Oregon .. very difficult to find old stuff there, but if you could read the beach good stuff could be found... would love to live in an area where the terrain has changed like Florida after the hurricane ... Awesome finds waiting out there.
The 1916 ring is very interesting... And the image on the dark green stone certainly looks like an early Girl Scouts of America emblem (a girl with a slouch field hat). The GSA was founded in 1912 so the timing would be right for that to maybe be a 1916 Christmas gift to some Girl Scout Troop Leader. Maybe this will give you a lead to research further... a very unique find.

The bracket is 1/4x20 bolt plus 1/4x20 nut plus mineralac, strange name but that's what it's called, that is used to support 1 inch electrical conduit onto uni-strut mounted on wall for example. It probably came loose from an umbrella/chair home-made attachment or possibly cooler axle support.
Hi Helen , this was on Daytona Beach . Still don't have access to the south end. I don't think Melbourne got it too bad . The Treasure coast beaches didn't have very much erosion . Seems we got it the worst this time . Thanks for watching .

If nobody else said, the bracket is a conduit clamp. It goes in a channel type tube and slides where you need it, then you tighten it up on your conduit. Basically a construction type item.

Oh yeah , the tunnels to the beach reminded me of the late sixties early seventies when I would drive my hot rod 68 Camaro through them and rev it up . With the Thrush glass packs on the car it was ear deafening ! Those were the days !

Hi SBD , I am hearing we could get hit by another hurricane around December 5 . After this cold front moves up and out of here it will form south of Cuba and move up into Florida. It would be a very late storm. We should know more in a week or so . Keeping an eye on the tropics for another few weeks. Thanks for watching .

@@idigdaytona4478 Yes I feel so bad for all the damage I have seen on tv, it's terrible , both coasts hit bad. My parents had a place at Vanderbuilt beach until about 10 years back when they came back up north.. their road was a mess like some of what I saw on your footage. Terrible. Glad you are well. Getting freakin' cold on the beaches up here in NH now but I'll get out with my nox' if we get a decent day without wind. GL & HH !

I knew that quarter was going to be silver because I've been watching Jimmy crossbones videos and he's been using that big old 18-in coil on his Equinox and all them deep coins coming out have been silver every one of them. used to detect beaches in Oregon .. very difficult to find old stuff there, but if you could read the beach good stuff could be found... would love to live in an area where the terrain has changed like Florida after the hurricane ... Awesome finds waiting out there.

The 1916 ring is very interesting... And the image on the dark green stone certainly looks like an early Girl Scouts of America emblem (a girl with a slouch field hat). The GSA was founded in 1912 so the timing would be right for that to maybe be a 1916 Christmas gift to some Girl Scout Troop Leader. Maybe this will give you a lead to research further... a very unique find.

The bracket is 1/4x20 bolt plus 1/4x20 nut plus mineralac, strange name but that's what it's called, that is used to support 1 inch electrical conduit onto uni-strut mounted on wall for example. It probably came loose from an umbrella/chair home-made attachment or possibly cooler axle support.
