"Songs of a High-Spirited Saga" was a Dragonball/Z English Version Soundtrack produced in the Philippines in 1996, during a combined theatrical release of the Dragonball Z Movies 5 & 6 (Coola & Coola II). Dragonball Z was pretty popular in the Philippines in those days, as another theatrical release soon followed, combining the second and third Broli movies.
However, since the album was just a one-time production, it is not being produced anymore. Only those who bought the album back in '96 (and took great care of it!) have copies now. The album was released both as tape and LD. The tape has songs on Side A, while Side B contains Minus One (Karaoke) versions of the songs.

Gino Padilla honestly will always be the voice of DBZ in my heart.
The guitar solo is like a cherry on top. Such an awesome classic! I remember watching this movie with a hilariously bad english dub in the mega mall in manila back in the 90s. It was amazing! I got the cassette tape too which sadly disappeared.
An English version of Kimi ga HERO (My FAVORITE movie ending song, by the way)? Awesome!

I used to listen to the Spanish version of this song when I was a kid "Eres Un Héroe" this version is also great, sounds really nice, it's good that in the Philippines they based the songs on the original Japanese ones, not like in the US that changes it to different songs.
Is the Spanish version has a translated version of Movie 5 ending theme?
@@Jiterdomer No, I think for that one at the ending they just used the Spanish version of Zenkai Power called "Sal de ahí magnífico poder"

Heard in the end credits of Dragon Ball Z: The Greatest Rivals.
In the US and Japan, they were separate movies. Movie 5 has an ending song that isn't translated in Philippine-English.

esta música es tan noventera, que tal solo escucharla me transporta a mi infancia, cuando veía DBZ por tv en las mañana junto a los amigos y luego sacar nuestras hipótesis de lo que iba a suceder o jugar a ser Goku y sus amigos, coleccionar los albunes, los taps que venían en los chizitos, asú tantas cosas maravillosas que paso en ese tiempo.
Honestly better than the original Japanese verison. Also, Gino Padilla’s singing reminds me of the theme song for Timothy Goes To School. (Wish I knew the name of that singer)
