My book said that the acetyl coa comes from fatty acid oxidation, and increase of that causes increase in pyruvate carboxilase to make glucose for gluconeogenesis, but I dont get it, if we have enough energy why would we be breaking fat?
It was my understanding that EPI increases Ca2+ concentrations by binding to alpha-1-adrenoceptors, stimulating phospholipase C (IP3/DAG pathway) to increase [Ca2+]. Not beta-adrenoceptors
