I bought this phone for my grandma who needed a new phone desperately. I myself am rocking the galaxy s20 so I have know samsung for a while. For what she uses it as with talk, text and Google searches this works great. She felt weird about going from a 4.7 to a 6.5 display but she loves being able to see more clearly
Me too, I have a Z Fold2 and used Samsung for over six years. Will give this to my grandma too
don't forget to turn on "EZ mode" it's a great mode for older people and it will make phone really accessible for them

Thats good since 2 +,3gs will be obsolete starting January 1st and though out depending on the phone. Many elderly have flip phones will have to get new phones .
The one thing missing from nearly all these smart phone reviews is how it performs as a phone. Important for me with a moderate hearing loss.
I brought the A02s in February, so far everything is go especially the battery life. It doesn't lag out heat up even when i use an average of 7-8 hours per day.
Everything is good for me but the selfie camera is a little bit below average in todays standard. I updated it to android 11 yesterday.
How's A02s performance on android 11? Did it improve much from android 10?

If you're a simple person who really doesn't care about having a bunch of apps.. taking pictures all the time.. this phone is great. Does the basic things I need just fine

Chinese companies do the same thing and reach the top ... they also have to take out phones on the conveyor belt in order to compete with the crap in China.
Finally samsung is stepping up little on their budget phones.

Great review! Senior getting first smart phone *whew*. Even after 3 mini strokes I can handle it. Need camera for Instagram and website. Battery NOT changeable ??? how long will this phone last. After this phone dies, I plan on upgrading. For $79 at Walmart in Hartwell, GA, I can't complain.

@@chase7974 while its not the best value for several people, its perfect for me since I mostly use my phone to watch RUclips, Live streams, and surf the web. I rarely play any games on my phone, and I have heard that the SD 450 beats out the Helio G35 in terms of Graphic and Smoothness in Pubg Mobile and Cod Mobile
@@typhoon_8086 Look into Redmi 9 then. FHD 1080p screen, Helio G80, better cameras. I believe it's around $140 for the base 3gb/32gb version. For the price it's selling at they've used the best SoC.
Samsung doesn't really know how to do budget phones right. A 720p screen on a 6.5 display looks terrible, and the Snapdragon 450 isn't great either.

You talking to those familiar with smart phones, but I ordered a manual through the post to learn from. What has puzzled me so far is I have always texted people with letter after letter but the manual implies you can speak sentences to the phone. Really? Can it understand every accent and dialogue?

I have shifted to iPhone 12 Pro Max from Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on November 2021. I had been using Samsung S7 for editing videos using Viva Video app and other Android apps I paid before. My S7 died and the repair man said I need to change the screen, which will cost me about $250. I just couldn’t live without a Samsung phone because all the apps I use for video editing are there. So I am planning to buy a cheap Samsung Android phone and thought of buying A02s just for editing photos and videos I shot from my iPhone. Would this phone do such editing the same as other Samsung phones?

I'm using this phone now and its very worth it. The speed and the battery lfe is very solid. I just dont like the bezels and chin at the bottom because its quite thick. But overall, you get what you paid for.🤗🥰

Nice review. I don't know if you had the brightness to 100 % on the A02S but the A01 looks brighter and more clear than the A02S

With the M11 you get some extra features not found on the A02s, like a Finger Print Sensor and the Wide-Angle Camera. Unless you really care about those features, the A02s is a solid budget phone from Samsung

good overall review but do a better test on games. Pick a little graphics intensive games. Because such games test the display, the graphics processor and overall speed. Its not a flagship or mid range phone sure but there are a lot of graphics intensive games that are on the mid to low level phones that you can use to test it. Battery, Graphics and Speed all tested just by playing such games.

Its really a nice fone but call recorder doesnt work on android 10.. and the brightness of cp automatically became dark without setting it .. thats the negative side.. i adjust the adaptive brightness its ok now
