I have used this phone for a year and it received Android 11 One UI 3.1 it runs a lot better if your well versed in Android you can tweek things here and there to make it even better. It works I see no reason to change it oh also they do a Grey version with speckles in the back plastic as well.
This phone is set to have Android 12 One UI 4.0 in June/July 22

I’ve had a device that’s slow like this phone so accustomed to it. It also reminds me of our wi-fi connections at home. Not one that I would have to do anything but only use make calls or text with. That’s all that it may be good for.
I have this as a second phone mostly for driving directions, spotify and netflix. For the price its not too bad really it lags af sometimes but it makes me appreciate my main iphone 12 so much more

Having a laggy new device is unacceptable nowadays. But with that SoC, I'm not surprised that the device stutters the way it does.

I've been using my Samsung Galaxy Express Prime ever since freshman year 2017 with 16gb and poor game performance for PUBG and COD Mobile that UNFORTUNATELY has a screen flashing orange and black ever since late 2020, so seeing a 2021 samsung phone with this kind of performance is a bit embarrassing. Can't wait to start working to buy the A71 on Black Friday and the Ayo Neo Handheld Gaming PC (699 dollars last I checked). I'd be happy with the a71 due to its better qualities compared to my express prime especially since my FIRST phone is not that good. Keep it up with the videos TechDaily!!!

it is definitely not the best but its working, though i have some problems like when i turn my wifi or mobile data on my phone will be so laggy for a few hours and it is so much worse when i plugged in my charger🤦🤦

Honestly they should stop manufacturing a lot of devices, they could use the parts to make a revolutionary flagship
Theyre actually doing that, yet also produces these cheap phones for those cant afford to buy the expensive ones. They basically want their phones to be used everywhere, by the poor and rich.

I have a 4 year old Alcatel in my drawer with the same mediatek processor. I got it free back then. I fired it up & it was as fast or just as slow. Samsung please in 2021. Don't anyone buy this phone for a big battery. These companies really thing we are all dumb.

28 nm is just going to kill the battery. Last year's A01 had a 14 nm fab process, but Samsung took that, and made it worse. I'd be willing to bet it's outperformed by the first Galaxy S from ELEVEN years ago.

@@TechDaily yea I am actually using the 2020's galaxy m01 which is similar to a01 and I'm reallh glad to not have chosen this device. My device lags too but for 8000 rupees or 100 something dollars, it is a very good deal.

To be honest is not competitive for its price you can get a better realme c11 or a redmi 9a(edit: the a02 is actaully much more expensive than i expected i taught it was 100$ but its a whopping 150$ that can buy you a realme 5i or realme c15 or redmi 9 which is way way better there is literally no battle in hands down realme and xiaomi has better offers for the price)
FYI. No need to buy new cases. S23 cases will fit so long as not rigid. The leather wallet or rubber cases have enough give to stretch over this phone.
I think Samsung is leaning towards the V shape notch on their lower end phones which I totally am not the biggest fan of. Had they just use Infinity O (holepunch camera cutout on the top centre) of the phone like on higher midrange phones I think it will make a lot of difference and much more sense. Also not having even a side mounted fingerprint sensor just sucks when older phones like A10s/A11 have fingerprint sensors as an added biometric feature. I dunno why people would bother to buy such crap of a phone when they can just save up a little bit and get last year's A31 or even A425G which obviously better screen and better features than this one or better yet if they don't really care about software updates that much how about a preowned Galaxy S9/S10 which has flagship specs from the previous years yet still more powerful than this crap of a budget phone.

@Kenn Honson X speaking of the haptic feedback, I can feel virtually nothing on my A30s. But on the S7, its really nice! Almost every thing you do just feel like pressing an actual button. Lets not mention 1440P that I set on my S7, phenomenal stuff I don't get on my A30s. Plus, my S7 is just way more durable than the A30s, lets not forget that the A30s plastic coating just flakes off after a few months of using, while the S7? Its built to last

Its not about having more is better (AHEM 2MP MACROS) its more about the time and effort it takes to make a good combination. I am more of a lazy person so I'd rather bring a phone to do everything I need to do on it, including taking pictures

Depends on what you want. A 3 years old flag ship with one of if not the best chips of its time (it shares the same a11 chips found on the iPhone x) or budget from last year thats has ok ish performance but has better battery life
