Have had this phone for a few days now and totally happy with it! I have the awesome violet and love it (normally a white or black phone fan so this was a big step!). I upgraded from the Xiaomi redmi 4a, so experiencing this phone was like being fast forwarded a century, lol.
Actually the A series from 2017 had IP68 dust and water resistant and even had metal and glass builds! They were actually some premium phones back then....
Seems like this and the a72 were some of the only a series phones that didn’t get a complete downgrade, also I find it weird how the a72 doesn’t have a 120hz screen when the lower end a52 5g has one

I understand that there was an improvement over its predecessor, since it grows in battery, better processor, goes from 60hz to 90hz, raises its fast charge to 25 watts and improves its cameras... Good video Bro 👍👍

Pls compare this A52 & A72 phone's display with the display of S20 FE. Both say they are Samoled+ but I'm sure there is a difference in colours cuz I compared my old S8 with my dad's A51 and there was a huge difference in colour tones! S8 looked so much better. If a 4 year old phone is still better then the lastest midrange then I can't think how much of a difference it'll be b/w the latest flagship! I already know the often talked about difference of max nits, HDR10+ support and 120hz but the difference I saw was in SDR content which is like 99% of videos on youtube. I can't find any comparison anywhere so pls consider it!🙏🏻 Leaving this comment here hoping you will notice!😅 Thank you in advance 😄

Besides, here in Brazil, this kind of phone costs a lot more than in the US, you know? My mom paid about R$ 1,888 on my little boy right here, and the A52 it's not available yet. And I'm liking the experience with the A71 so far. It does everything I need or want it to do and I can even play some cool games, so I am giving it a lot of value. they added a bigger speaker on top for stereo sound, and we all know samsung is making the bezels more equal even if it results to having bigger bezels on sides (example is apple iphone xr) and we can also see this with s21 which has thicker bezel than s20 but more uniform in size
the a52 is such a great midrange phone, the speakers are really good and I barely need to charge my phone everyday. it lasts for 2 days with me without charging and that's with me playing some games on the phone too
I’ve ordered the 5G version , but i don’t think that this will be as popular as A51. At a price of 350€ this is kinda expensive for the average person tho.

I have the A52, great phone but I didn't like : -The plastic frame -The Camera modules are surrounded by plastic not Glass as in the A51. -There's a hollow space in the back.

I wanted this phone so bad but it is missing some important network bands for T-Mobile. I've been through that before with my Xiaomi and it's a hassle with calls and messages.
I was SO torn in-between last year's A phones and this year's phones. Why did I not get the FE for a dollar less than the price of my A71 or wait until this year? All the frustrations Wade.
I don’t think you made a bad choice with the A71. I will say though...while the A52/A72 are coming out now, there miiiight be an S21 FE here soon. So keep an eye out and stay patient if you can 👀

I get why phone companies might want to add high MP camera lenses like 64MP but why in midrange models??😤 I really don't get what kind of midrange consumer wants to shoot 64MP photos considering no photographers will be buying one and regular folks just want to post on all their social media feeds which have limits of 1080p max.🤦🏻♂️ The only reason I get annoyed is becuz when companies do this they either have to increase the cost of the device or cut corners elsewhere!🤷🏻♂️ Make better lenses in terms of aperture and not overkill resolution bumps!

I'm still using my a7 2017! Had the battery changed once and it is still going strong.
