Robert Conrad became Pasquinel in that movie, he was GREAT! The Centennial DVD set I have has some behind the scenes conversation from some of the actors, it was wonderful to get their take on the experiences of making that wonderful series. Still one of my all time favorites. When they got to more 'modern ' times, it just wasn't the same, I loved the 'old days' filming the best.
Robert Conrad worked very hard to achieve his success. When the Wild Wild West was in production, he said that he worked 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. He was able to see his family only one day a week because of the production schedule. In order to save time and cut costs, he suggested that he do his own stunts, which the stunt team didn't like. The show was cancelled after four seasons because of Congressional concerns about violence on TV. Mr. Conrad was relieved. Much like James Garner, who did many of his own stunts in the Rockford Files, all of those stunts were wearing him down physically.
I love RC. Sad that he ended up debellated in a car accident. The same happened to my own dad at the same age. Grew up with him as child and Jim West is part of a triumvirate of Jim West, Jim Phelps and Jim Kirk. The greatest Jims ever!
I HAVE CENTENNIAL COMPLETE WITH ALL R REGAN POLITICAL ADDS + THE DVD VERSIONS = PRICELESS + I LOVE COLO + I HAVE FAMILY IN FT COLLINS = I WATCH IT YEARLY IN THE FALL 2 DAYS 12 HR STRAIGHT EACH DAY
Grew up watching the Wild Wild West and enjoyed it. Also liked actor Ross Martin as Artemus Gordon. Unfortunately Conrad drove his Jaguar inebriated and slammed into another driver, causing Conrad to be partially paralyzed and leading to an early death of the other driver following his injuries a couple of years later.
2:50 omg, I've never ever seen RC become effeminate for one moment, and he could have played a queer role so easily. I love RC and he was such an underrated actor.
I read the book this summer and thought it would make an excellent streaming service series. It could run for years just on what's in the book. My mother in law informed me it was a miniseries in the 1970's. So I watched it. It is sh*t! Not the sh*t, just sh*t. But I will say Robert Conrad was very good as Pasquinel.
He was incredible as Pasquinel that was strong and vital to the storyline. I loved him as Pasquinel that no one else could denied his ability to act since he is a remarkable actor of our time. However, I do not consider this Centennial Series as shit because there were well-known actors performing at their incredible experience to make it work. I loved it and considered to be one of the finest series ever presented on TV. Not to mention the actual happenings that occurred through history.
I was a fan when I was a teenager, but unfortunately as I got older I realized that he was a rude, arrogant, superficial, vain and silly person... Not a good actor! But in our world of "appearances", he was (some) successful! 😔
Just because he’s direct answering her questions doesn’t make him rude etc. Robert has always said he tells it as it is. Some people take that as rude etc but I take it as not been walked on.
@@marsnook I understand...But as a person who didn't know him, I can only have my opinion based on the image he portrayed in life! Unfortunately we can no longer "manufacture" another one! However, I still admire him as an artist and own several of his films.

I hate when Robert Conrad died as well as Richard Chamberlain that never disappoints. I loved this series but misplaced it when I moved from Texas.

My left ear enjoyed this interview.

Pasquinel…he can be trusted
There was Centennial authenticity before there was The Revenant!

It sounded like she welcomed Robert Conrad back is there another Video Interview with him.
RC is about 42/43 here.
Poor Bobbie W. Audio wasn't very good in her day.
audio is terrible

Alcohol made him older than his age.Just compare him to Tom Cruise or Clint Eastwood at the same age.
He reminds me of Mel Gibson.
No need to insult Robert Conrad.
@HansDelbruck53 Did Mel drive drunk and seriously injure someone that ultimately died 2 years later?
@@mas5867 Not that I know of, but there's still time if he so desires. He has been known to drive drunk.
@@mas5867 Gibson did worse, he beat up his girl friend, plead no contest to a misdemeanor battery charge. Gibson is a scum bag.
Mel Gibson is a brilliant actor.
😂

Huh? I met him. He was 5’ 8”

@@marsnook Well...This is your opinion and I respect it! The one you read is mine! Thanks for the comment!
@@michel5355 I respect your opinion but the positive opinion of him outweighs any negatives from others who knew and met him personally.

My God, he is sooooo insecure.
Not at all, just having fun.
He was a great actor and a legend😎
