Ok people this is the same video I posted last week. RUclips in their wisdom accepted a copyright claim from Super Yacht Times for a thumbnail photo which I had been given verbal permission to use. They blocked my video in its entirety. I have had to re-upload and edit to make it slightly different as they blocked an identical re-uploaded video with a different thumbnail as well even though it was only the thumbnail that was the issue.

eSysman I hope all come out in your favour. Anyhow video is freaking awesome! The information that you are providing is incredible! Thank you a million for sharin! As usual video liked! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤘🏻
SYT needs to cool their heels on this type of BS. Not Coot. Glad its back up!
Don't you live free speech?
@@jshrawder49 Super Yacht Times really should have asked eSysman to give them credit and a referral code. We might have subscribed. Shame they did not try to turn the encounter into a positive.
A superb video of a very technically advanced yacht. Glad that it's up and I truly enjoyed it. Thanks for your hard, time consuming work. Super Yacht Times = 😭😭😭. Think I'll stop by and "Unsubscribe" on my way to the veranda. Cheers Mate! 🍻👍😎
No worries on the reload...As I said before, its great to get a tour from someone that is very enthusiastic about their job and their craftsmanship.
Thanks again...
That was amazing!! My favorite video of yours to date. He said, “Not many people are interested in those things.” (the AV stuff)
I’m a 58 year old female and I’m VERY interested in the electronics involved with the operation of these yachts. That was a brilliant tour, thank you so much!
He means most people who come in for a tour want to see the luxury. I’ve done my fair share of tours and they are generally interested in seeing the decor, master cabins etc. Glad you’re interested. 👍🏻
The bloke showing you around was unbelievably passionate about his field of work, so good too see 🙂
As always, a great video, nice and chilled!
Such a super nice gentlemen, He should start his own youtube channel, so much to learn from his enthusiastic way of telling !
Awesome video!!!!!!!!!! You can tell the brother takes pride and was happy to share his work. Thank you for sharing, keep them coming!
Tenacity trumps the myopic every time! Thank you for the re-upload.
Nice to see places most of us never get to see, atleast that goes from my side. And that gentleman was very nice and humble and the last thing he said: Most people are not that interested in the technical stuff haha, that made my evening
Well tonnage is how ships are measured in terms of volume. Displacement is actually including fuel and cargo. Lightweight tonnage is the actual weight of the vessel. A figure not often given.
@@eSysmanSuperYachts I like really like that yacht, it is a little different like most other yachts and i really like that, when people are a little different. Have a great weekend :)
I'm glad you persevered in getting this video back up. It was very educational even though I didn't understand all of the technical info.
Wow, that's a far better tour than the previous one, congratulations on finding that guy. I like their web server solutions. "Not everyone is interested in technical stuff ... :/" Oh well, we are! Thanks for the tour!
12:45 Oh, hello!
Yacht Sensei, your dedication is amazing, and one of the many reasons I recommended your channel to another channel speaking about “ super yacht influencers “
Nice
Great video 🤙The technical insight was refreshing.
He looked like he 'owned' that yacht, when he's wearing shoes and everyone else is in socks or bare feet hahaha 😄
Crew are issued ‘inside’ shoes to wear in the interior but deck guys like to walk around bare feet. Also to me it seemed he had guest status the way he was with the others onboard. Not in a bad way just the way they treated him.
@@eSysmanSuperYachts And that sound system is fully sick 🤙
That was fascinating to see! Whilst it went over my head! I still loved watching it!Well done and boy it is a bit different to a lovely old Grand Banks 42 my dad had LOL! Sigh It was just magical to see!
Boo to Super Yacht Times!
Excellent tour and guide. His name is Udo Popp. He responded to an early comment. He wears a nice Omega Seamaster. He's passionate about his craft.
Great vid thanks
Great Video
15,000w subwoofers - NICE!
Some of the tech implementation is a bit janky, but you can see some pragmatic decisions have been made to reduce cost and integration complexity . At least you can throw it all away in a few years when the tech is obsolete.
For about 10 minutes I forgot the video was filmed on a yacht.
I was so focused on all the info. Great video.
Thank you for showing this to us..
Coming from the future, I can see why some people associated with the ship and its builders may not have liked this video. It shows some of the “shortcuts” and “deficiencies” of other design choices and the design choices made here. It could induce some “option paralysis”. Also, highlighting the “cheap” technical choices that reveal how the “magic” is done behind the scenes that make the illusion of gee-whiz less so.
But I am one who does appreciate the techie stuff.
Super vidéo merci !
The “Tech Tour” was one of your best videos ever. A walkthrough on the Dilbar would be great too...
You gliding on the old cruise ship crew ship routine, chat,I love it ✔️✔️
as a tech geek, i love these kinds of vids. will you be uploading a vid about all the tech/toys at the Monaco Yacht Show like you did last year?
Unfortunately I didn’t have time this year to go in that section. Next year for sure. I did a couple of videos at least year’s show if you haven’t seen them already.
@@eSysmanSuperYachtsthat's unfortunate you didn't have time. you're the only channel i've found that's making these types of videos (at least to your level of detail). at least we got to see all the tech on this one yacht. and yeah, i've watched all the vids from 2017 & 2018. next year.
I love that you can keep up with the technical details and got to show us so much! Good interview skills and camera work especially for someone doing both at the same time! A+ video.
This was great, thank you.
Thanks for re-uploading. Can you make an item about power consumption on a yacht maybe? Would be very interesting.
Very cool looking bridge
Love the tech video, very cool stuff.
Great tour!
watched it again to help you out
Greetings from Colorado! Thanks, ALSO, For redoing this video. It seems politics are everywhere. I wonder if you could direct your owner towards then SuperYachtCaptain channel. Captain Tristan says he's getting huge value from friends as well as charter customers...Jes' sayin'
The guy giving the tour seems incredibly nice.
This tech guy was freaking awesome
This is a wonderful video! Definitely fulfilled my geeky side.
Maybe I need to start to dream bigger? LOL!
After the GCR, I will want to know about these toys more. ;)
I think you left the same day Dilbar arrived.
Yes! Now I can finish watching it! I have a question; have any yachts you worked on featured a ship's cat? 🐈
No, none.
Cool stuff
no way, world has gone mad
I just unsubbed and commented why on the Super Yacht Time's channel. The pedantic tossers can f*+$ right off lol, your channel mate is way, way better. Keep up the great work. Cheers.
Crazy billionaire living! Girls are also amazing!
Again, amazing tour! The equipment is like a fully fledged TV-studio with all those racks. They need a full time pixeljanitor on that yacht.
Wow great video, please more technical content please.
In addition to all this AV gear, I'd still sacrifice a VIP cabin for a dedicated fully soundproofed screening room.
Visual would consist either of a custom 8K OLED screen of 154 inches (four 77 inch 4K screens seamlessly merged) or an IMAX 1:85 proprietary rig with whatever projector they're currently fitting to their private setups available ashore; I think the 4K laser affairs should be available before too long, plus their usual blizzard of quality control sensors to enable remote tweaking of picture & sound from IMAX headquarters. The main draw would be films specially available in their expanded "Formatted For IMAX" 1:85 ratio rather than the 2:35 seen on Bluray & non IMAX venues. Films partially shot on IMAX film would have expanding ratios (too bad traditional IMAX 4:3 is not available) as per the Blurays.
Audio would be a DTS-X affair with 11 discrete channels and supporting Atmos with object based audio. Tactile transducers in the seats. A Kaleidoscope library server for 4K Bluray discs as I'm not into any sort of streaming.
the more complicated the more headaches on repairs
Hello from Canada
the German takeover. xD xD xD
Did you notice the cool detail that you are actually able to observe the front of the ship when standing inside the Salón? Very unusual designer detail, complements to Espen Øyno!
Do you by chance know the name of the company providing the IT/ video install? Or is this a department of SilverYachts themselves? Very interesting to see in detail, as I have worked in event-IT for a bit.
Doing Creative Technology, I'm also interested in that information. ;)
I think he works for the company. But stupidly I never asked that question. I usually get the people interview to state their name and company but I was in such a hurry I never did it this time.
Hi, i was the tourguide, hard to find the "new" Video, my name is Udo Popp udopopp@gmail.com, if you like to have some more infos.
Australia literally making waves overseas.
What would be a smaller sized yacht that would be comfortable for two couples, plus crew (captain, engineer, deck/interior) for owners that are not mechanically savvy in your opinion, but do not need over the top luxury, maybe even exploration rated? Also, do you know if the new Amazon/Elon satellite internet system will be available for ocean travel? I've seen Amazon will not be available in Alaska/ the extreme north/south pole areas but i've not seen if it should work for ocean travel in the middle parts of the globe.
Also, why don't you see 4k projector/screens on ships/boats other than cruisers on deck? It seems they should weigh less and work as well as a TV to me, but I don't own a yacht or work in the industry.
Can you imagine playing the F1 video game on that screen?
I'd go VR with that budget. ;)
I was thinking tennis simulator the size of an actual tennis court :-)
12:50 Well, hello.
Do you (or anyone) know the name of the person who installed AV and IT system? Great video, very informative.
Unfortunately I didn’t get his name.
Hi, my name is Udo Popp, i did the tour and i am very happy to get all this great feedback, thank you!
Who's running this channel, this guy seems to really know what he's talking about while he's on these Super yachts, that guy you met on BOLD that did the boats whole audio and visual system would be way out of my price range. The only way I'm ever going to need his services is if I win the Powerball or Megamillions. Lol.
Yep thats the Yanks for you, act without any evidence and or support documents. It is sooooo easy to ask first :-) good you got it back up
Awesome video, many thanks for uploading. Geeks paradise. Although I was surprised at the A/V rack install (14:51) ... for that level of cost the 19" rack install seemed very slap-dash. Not a huge amount of thought for airflow over some of those components (amplifiers in particular). Also the amount of "junk" lying around on the floor waiting to cause issues down the line!.
Also at 11:03 did I hear correctly that the system in use is using multiple HDMI to DVB-T modulators to pipe the content around to each screen? If so surely they are losing out on the display panels ability to produce full hd resolutions if they used a "normal" 4K Matrix and IP receivers at each screen?
Also couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of a multi-million pound super-yacht deploying Raspberry Pi's as content servers. I'm guessing that's what they are using for the Plex clients?
EDIT: Just re-watched the section at 15:25 ... you can see what looks like 8-10 red/white cases ... these are actually the Raspberry Pi units. He's installed the "Pi Zero" version which is a cheaper/stripped back version of the Full RPI unit. Ironically there are 19" rack mount holders for deploying multiple thin-clients but as you said I guess he was just testing / getting ready for MYS demos.
Great video though, really enjoyed it. Many thanks.
He did tell me offline they were still finishing the install and trying to get it ready for the Monaco Show hence it looked unfinished.
@@eSysmanSuperYachts Ahh ... fair enough. Seemed like a great guy to talk to. Many thanks.
How petty of SYT under the circumstances
yeah I saw the first one of this and that kid sucked ass. it was like he had to get it over with so he could get to his hook up or some thing real shame he was that way.
What are some of your favorite AV companies that do super yacht installs?
Even on multi million yacht IT installation is messy.
this guys is a pure millennial
This is amazing. Can you connect me with him, that's my skill, his work is so skilled, can I talk with you
Like the change of camera angle, pervert 😂😂😂

Super Yacht Times needs to learn about the Streisand Effect. I can't remember the thumbnail as it would have been inconsequential in the whole video. As it is SYT have just attracted a lot of attention and all for the wrong reasons amongst their potential readers. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streisand_effect
Loved the tech content, enjoy that more than all the fancy rooms. Love to see the engine rooms.
There's a lot of tech must be a nightmare if if go's wrong mind you the yachts not the prettiest I've seen.
Wifi Sucks i have Ethernet cable in my computer
90tb NAS? Man that's a lot of porn. 😇

Better to use your own content to avoid such bullshit
