Fun fact: the spiral staircases you guys went up at 10:50 were designed to provide an advantage for medieval defenders (assuming most people are right-handed), as it was easier for them to swing their sword arm compared to an attacker going up the stairs, as the pillar for the spiral staircase impeded the attacker's ability to use their weapon effectively. I guess nowadays they force a right-handed shooter to pie it off at a wider angle lol

Small tip, you do not need to yell hands up when he already shot at you. Both in real life and swat games, if he opens fire you are cleared to smoke him.
But even in real life they light them up and scream afterwards: Let me see your Hands!
The gun is for your own protection. Gun fight is the last option. I always try to avoid killing. Trigger happy people only get themselves killed.

Tbf he should generally atleast announce that he's police first. A person might not know that they're police and think they were intruders.

@@omgle118 the prerelease edition is only 40 right now and will go up to 50 at release, you cant play the alpha if you only buy 40 dollar edition though

I wish things up close were blurry when under nods like the are in ground branch. Just adds a tiny bit more realism

@@3BsandAK nods have an extremely shallow depth of field. Unless you're using a day cap at all times, which defeats the purpose of night vision, you would need to manually adjust your focus for distance either with the objective lense assembly or with some type of aperture system. Modern nods are quite good but they do not have auto focus on them yet
I mean you can run something like the eclipse system from MatBock which helps quite a bit
I'm speechless! That's the game I'm waiting since Swat 4. I was disapointed when I saw the first images of the game month or years ago. Now the game looks ready ahah. The movements, the graphics, the possibilities (breach, watch under the door, traps and defusing them, flashbangs, arrest or kill...) seems like Swat 4 or even more, the realism of gunfights (the "dirty" feeling of a real gunfight), even the AI seems realistic! And the way you guys play it is wonderful.
Don't recall playing SWAT 4 but played SWAT 3 and earlier top down Police Quest. It's a blast. This is the experience RB6S should've been.
This is extremely entertaining to watch and I don't know why. Would love to play it, but I don't have anybody to play with.
You can play solo. The team AI seems pretty impressive. I’m going to get it when it comes out and play by myself.
@@CrzBonKerz21 I was just thinking, combined with VoiceAttack the AI teammates might be fun to play with.
It's fun even with randoms, you really only need friends/a group if you want to do stuff like Karma here with more "real" esque clearing.
Game naturally lends itself to good teamwork and moments though. in-game VOIP is pretty buggy and inconsistent across different people atm though so 3rd party voice is the way to to for now

yeah it’s awesome when you can get decent people to play with. half of the online lobbies are filled with rambos tho

Wow, the five of people are playing such a sophisticated game. You guys and the game are all amazing.
Real-world CQB tactics, now including :
Walking into the open away from the group into clear lines of fire.
Walking into a room while checking corners 1,2 and 3. You only move into the room to check corner 4, the first 3 are checkable from the outside apart from larger rooms.
Walking into the big room together whithout checking the high stairs, all backs turned to them.

Ya it looks like a mess but the fact everyone is still alive and able to direct fire at the proper target says everything. Decent teamwork.
I really like this ready or not game and tarkov.
More games need to take from these and ghost recon wildlands.

Zero hour could be just like this if they put more work into it…. This game looks like what I’ve been missing. An actual realistic shooter
it will never be. RoN has much much more funding and is a full priced 60 dollar game. Zero Hour will never be able to do this without outside investment, which they don't have.
Plus, zero hour only has 1 coder/programmer.
Zero hour is still pretty decent like they at least have a PvP that is interesting

Dude this was incredible, keep up the content absolutely loving this game.
Tip when clearing stairs let 1 go first. So that if a target lays fire your not backing up on eachother

Vanilla is limited to 6 I think, but there are mods that allow you to have more.
I am surprised that I am having this much fun playing against ai. Let's hope they keep it up I thing this game has potential to be around for a long time.
This game looks amazing, I would love to see the insurgency sandstorm voip used here. I always loved the voice close, walkie far system.
Speaking as someone with absolutely no practical knowledge or experience; this seems like a big mansion to clear with just five guys. What would real world SWAT use?
From military experience I can say it would be a company sized element for something this big
40-60 would be my guess, coming in from several angles. 5 guy's would simply move too slowly and leave too much up to chance

They've said if the final release on PC does well, they'll consider porting it to console. So there is hope for you console guy's.
I don’t know how it would be possible, but if they pull it off. It will be really fun to cross play and get a lotta more players in the game.
luckily there isnt a lot of keybinds so controls wont be an issue

They have a nice working game atm but still have some fine polishing to do. One thing that bugged me was his partner had grips on his gun but the model was holding the gun like the gun didn’t have a grip. Meanwhile the pov players model holds the grip on his gun.

man i remember cqb stuff in basic training and doing some training at fort bragg. i havent played this yet but i play tarkov with an army vet and our team work together is seriously so satisfying.
So jealous of PC this scratches that mil-sim itch I can't get from Insurgency Sandstorm

All those meticulous tactics only to score an "F" at the end 😂😂 Ironically, I just watched some unknown RUclipsr fly through the crack house level like it was COD and scored a "B."
The biggest issue is they soft completed it. Missing quite a few rooms. This is one of the hardest missions.
@Vince Nav Me and my 3 crack head friends went through it with an A. I think some of these people are more worried about using lingo than actually playing the game right.

by practice. In real life or virtual.
You watch a bunch of youtube videos and movies and then try to apply it in virtual situations and get an F on a mission lol

Serious question, I worked with marines but never any people who did CQC, is "shitshow" being used is a defined context here? As in, are there certain parameters they are gaging the terrain against to define it as a "shitshow?" Or is it just subjective? I mean obviously its subjective, but are there definable varying degrees of "shitshow?" Also, I find it strange that we're getting more Pairs content in a Karmakut video than we typically get in an actual Pairs video. Please, make some longer form videos, Pairs.
If I understand correctly, they use it to indicate that the terrain up ahead is difficult to clear safely.

If Infinity Ward with all their triple A budget, could give us at least half of this experience with MW 2 (which they can do but they won't) i would be more than happy to pay 70 or even 100 bucks for it
they won't. They want mass appeal and kids to buy their game. They won't enjoy this hardcore style. They tried it with MW2019 playtesters hated it so they made movement faster paced and guns less dmg
