You might be joking, but I also play this mod unironically. I’ve taken over the map in the first two eras already I feel like no one else take this mod and it’s lore seriously but it’s all really good and well thought out despite how whacky it looks at face value.

It's not too crazy, but there is the Water Margin(Historical-Fantasy Chinese novel) mod called 108 heroes. It has main quest involving your character having mind control powers(which let's you play as Lords who join your army).

After about a year subscribed, I'm finally going through the backlog to like every video. I highly suggest that everybody does the same if they like Simo. you know it doesn't cost anything, right?
