You need to not stick to the rat/chad dichotomy. Play slow when you findyourself outmatched, disengage if you find yourself in a bad spot. Bounding fire to create space for your and your friend's movement. Rush in when you know the enemy has his pants down, use weapon lights to confuse and disorient, apply grenades liberally. It's not about being a rat or a chad, it's about knowing when you apply the strategies of either.
As a Tarkov noob that's not played an FPS since the original Medal of Honor, I'd bloody love to see this make it into a longer series. Simo in Tarkov is just meant to be.
Chads don't show up until about 2 weeks after a wipe, then they're everywhere, complaining about rats. They also don't like to talk about HOW they got their gear during those 2 weeks. I wonder why?

I've taken the same inspiration to try and not be ass terribad at the game like every other wipe i've been a part of, i desperately need more of these episodes so i feel less alone ps. hipfire more often or go to offline raids and only hipfire a couple times, it has made me so much deadlier in ways i cannot describe fully. Taking those first shots means they have to run first, and offers more chance (technically) that you hit them because you're firing more bullets in their direction and if you git gud at figuring out generally where the bullets are when you're sustaining fire you can sometimes accidentally blap some schmuck without thinking just from bein scurd
The worst part about this wipe is that the chads have already no-lifed the grind and are all already running around in airframes and slicks and shooting igolnik out of spaceguns. Early wipe stage didn't even last a week.
I have a lot of exams lately, so I'm learning a lot and just finished one exam today, so first time on youtube for a few days, thought I catched a Simo video "live" and was so happy because I thought Simo is streaming right now, just to see he uploaded it yesterday ....

I tried escape from Tarkov at my cousin's house and the first thing I did was turn an AK into a spring bolt marksman rifle because I like the concept of taking apart a weapon and rebuilding it to how you like it
