Destiny - This was really helpful. I have been doing a bit of what you are doing now on RUclips comment sections. One thing I have been trying is to focus on Trump’s actions during the mob violence. He did not go to the Situation Room, or call anyone to get reinforcements to the Capitol Police. For me, that kinda proves definitively that when he said “peacefully protest” once in his speech - versus “fight” 19 times, he meant for them to be violent (otherwise he would have called to fix the problem). And I agree with you that it is really hard to teach enough about reality and norms and fallacies to get folks to a point where they cannot quite get there. Keep up the good work.
The people in the comments complaining about how Destiny is intellectually beneath them are just arrogant and missing the point. It might benefit you to listen to Sam in his episode titled, "What I Really Think About Trump and Media Bias (Episode #293)" beginning at about the 13-minute mark. Sam does have a way with words (despite his tendency towards sophism concerning Trump). In the clip referenced, he says, "Do I think the phrase defund the police is one of the stupidest ever uttered? Of course." And yet, who was on board with the "defund the police move?" You guessed it. Kamala herself. How did Destiny manage to do every even remotely political podcast on the planet in just a few months?
Vyvanse
The dossad are powerful.
It's called the Jewlumni.
He's a damn good debater and has very sane, well-informed takes
Destiny is a girl's name after all. This shouldn't be surprising.
Sam really said “impressionistic tour of half truths” extemporaneously in a sentence 😅
Never thought id see the day
He was spot on about content creators getting paid by foreign entity. This was recorded before finding out about tenet media.
I can't wait for part two of this
Why would Sam subject his audience to this fool again? He is of very little value.
@@KenAttenborough-d6yAre you okay? you’ve been non stop replying to every comment on this video for the past 2 hours 💀 get a life
@@NightmareJessie This is exactly what I'd expect from a Destiny supporter. This is what his audience consists of, and why his brand of 'intellectualism' gets 'views'.
@@KenAttenborough-d6y Destiny is the king of snarky midwits. He’ll show up, mispronounce a few middle school vocab words, tell people he slept with their moms, and his fanbase will consider it a dub. It’s remarkable.
@@KenAttenborough-d6y you've so far added nothing. What you expect from destiny viewers is to ask questions? At least articulate what exactly you found that was problematic in this conversation
YESSSSS!
I legitimately never thought the day would come. Looking forward to listening through this!
Thank you Sam that is so cool that you two are meeting
Amazing guest, and amazing dialogue 👍🏽
The people in the comments complaining about how Destiny is intellectually beneath them are just arrogant and missing the point. The majority are just not as smart as these arrogant people think themselves to be so we need people at all levels to help stop people from falling into the wrong online echo chambers. Destiny isn’t dumb he just offers something different than Sam which makes him able to reach and get involved with a different group of people than Sam can which can only be a good thing.
Destiny is a brilliant man. It’s actually quite apparent.
@@shireenmcquade1951He is immature at times and a bit arrogant himself, but also very very sharp
He's a partisan hack and nothing like Sam. Get the fuck out of here.
How do I put it on 0.75 for when Destiny talks and 1.25 for when Harris talks?
if it makes it easier, "shift + " are the keyboard shortcuts for changing the speed of a video you are listening to
😂😂😂😂
@@glacique OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS
@@PoochieCollins it is truly life changing information
Honestly, it's amazing this has taken so long. Needed this years ago.
Sam did the Destiny performance artist a huge favor by platforming him. Hopefully it won't happen again. Destiny is an embarrassment.
@@KenAttenborough-d6yI'm shocked Sam had him on
@@cmhardin37 Me too. I was so irritated signed back up to RUclips to vent my frustration.

This was an amazing conversation. Really loved it. Please have a part 2 sometime soon.
Well, that was a plesant jump scare in my feed😅
This is my favorite podcast since the “free will revisited” one with Sam and Dan Dennett.
This is so funny. I'm happy that Destiny is getting these conversations
What if Nebraska Steve mastered meditation? What kind of being would that be?
Oh wow this is a nice surprise
I've literally emailed Sam asking for a conversation with Destiny, LETS GOOOOO
Awesome conversation. Not long enough. Have him on again before the election.
Omgooodness. I've been watching Sam for about a decade now. It's crazy to see he finally made it
Sam Harris is a smart guy. But yet he is so infected with bias regarding his own political views that he makes a statement like this: “ I noticed and appreciated that Kamala Harris pivoted to the center. I hope she is able to stay there.” He says this as if there is something genuine about her doing that, rather than the blatantly manipulative maneuver that it is. Really Sam? We’re supposed to take you serious?
100%.
Why would she have supported all of Biden's policies for the last ~ four years?
Does Harris forget Harris's support for Biden's policy on the border? Or even her renegade "defund the police" Does Sam forget his own, ruclips.net/video/IgL1bnAvo4Q/видео.htmlsi=7Q_abVuGnt5uEKpY&t=780 ?
Isn't that what you want from a politician? Shift their positions so they better represent what people want? Are you really going to hold it against Kamala that she represents her voter's interests over what she may privately believe?
@@faketheo3432
"Isn't that what you want from a politician? Shift their positions so they better represent what people want? Are you really going to hold it against Kamala that she represents her voter's interests over what she may privately believe?"
Seriously? "Are you really going to hold it against Kamala that she represents her voter's interests over what she may privately believe?"
You've got to be kidding me. What kind of bulwark against tyranny is that? How would it not be far preferable to have a candidate who could conceive of wise policy and advocate for it in the face of mindless clapping seals who demand moronic policy?
It might benefit you to listen to Sam in his episode titled, "What I Really Think About Trump and Media Bias (Episode #293)" beginning at about the 13-minute mark.
Sam does have a way with words (despite his tendency towards sophism concerning Trump). In the clip referenced, he says, "Do I think the phrase defund the police is one of the stupidest ever uttered? Of course."
And yet, who was on board with the "defund the police move?" You guessed it. Kamala herself. Either because she was too dumb to see how stupid it was or because she was acting per your representation of "her voter's interests over what she may privately believe?"
Either way, it is disastrous.
So glad you guys found each other.
They deserve each other.
D- "one thing ive been upset with my performs last year was that i was too noncombative in the hopes of not alienating my oposition"
*40 minutes of agreement and performative comraderie*
Harris- "great, so whats something we dont gree on"
D- "well a big thing my community asks me to comba/"
Harris- "/im gonna stop you there, thankyou please subscribe"
Been a huge fan of Sam for 15 years, Been a fan of Destiny for several years. Wanted this for a long time, listened to the whole thing on the premium Spotify sub and it did not disappoint and my humble prediction that these two would round each other out quite well seemed to be a no brainer and it did come to pass.
I hope Sam comes on Destiny stream and/or "Anything Else".
Probably my top 2 content creators time wise, and they finally meet. Great convo.
These two are obsessed with Trump... sooo wEiieerrrduh.......
DESTINY X SAM HARRIS 🎉❤❤❤ … It’s finally happened!

Don’t quite get the Destiny fandom. But I found this episode perfectly fine.
