I honestly do not understand why some Americans think Trump was respected or feared around the world. I live in an EU country. From the first day he took office until today, I have never spoken to a person that doesn't see him as a clown. And I engage in a lot of political discussions. Maybe it's the lack of perspective Americans have about what happens in the rest of the world. But the US was literally a joke to us during Trump's presidency.

Trumpers believe that (after the coup attempt, Trumpers are no longer American. They can be Confederates if they want but they're NOT American. They are traitors to my nation.)
And realistically, Trumpers don't ACTUALLY believe it either, all through that period they were bitching and moaning about how the world was running a smear campaign on Trump. They knew every nation was shitting on us. But now they do what Trumpers do, try to rewrite history in their favor.

It is qualified criminal immunity - "from criminal charges for their official 'core constitutional' acts but not unofficial acts." Obama could have done the same against Bush and Bush could have done the same against Clinton, but that wasn't how we used to operate.
