i doooooooont knoooow maaaaaan... i love JHS! but i belive this pedal seems to be a bit to weak and unfocused for being called something that manages a metal tone (I think more of a tight smooth tone with both a distortion+od built in a box and this is more like a grunge distortion) . The JHS AT+ (angry charlie) is way better at that imo from what I hear in your clip. LA Gehenna, KSR Vesta and Ceres, Victory Kraken v2/v4 are just a few. Even the Joyo Rigel and Preamp House sounds wayyyy better than this! Anyways great playing and awesome choice of songs in drop B. I need to figure out the Mudvayne - Deathblooms song now! Also this comment wasn’t to come off as an A-hole and kinda meant to be a smart arse and name a few much better pedals. Love your channel and playing!
Why not bypass the preamp altogether and stick it into the return to only use the power amp section of your amp ? Now your demoing JHS peda colored by your tubes preamp. Basically 2 preamps stacked. Missed opportunity to show off what the pedal on its own really sounds like. Love the riffs, all the best with your channel.

I think he’s insinuating that you’re using the 5150 for the gain, but you’re clearly on the green (clean) channel. The tone is all pedal, and it sounds great!
yeh fair comment! some of the riffs. like left behind for example start with just the guitar on its own :) but i was so eager to get into the medley it couldnt wait! :D

Where most drive pedals fail is that they flub out in the low end, particularly while palm muting. Unfortunately this one is no different.
I think loco is one of the best drop b riffs
