June 8th, 2023 - Mercy Flight of Western New York officially unveiled their newest addition to their lifesaving fleet, a 2023 Bell 429 Global Ranger, marking the return of a third aircraft. N509TJ (Mercy Flight 9) is dedicated to pilot James E. Sauer, who tragically lost his life alongside Bell Helicopter pilot Stewart Dietrick last April in a training accident aboard N507TJ.
